Enjoyed our meal. Food was homey, simple and satisfying. Portions were generous and great value. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend for an affordable, homey and comforting meal.

The terrace is beautiful and the place has a great ambiance. However, I feel like the meat and food is just okay, not the best afghani I've had. The price would be justified if it was really good, but it was expensive without merit. I went about a year ago, and didn't want to put a review initially thinking maybe they had a bad day. But when my friend went a year later and she also left disappointed, it made me realize maybe this place is indeed overhyped.

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as this place is very popular. Overall, an outstanding experience.

Lovely staff, warm and friendly atmosphere, and great food. The food is a bit on the expensive side considering the portion, but it’s fresh and high quality! The staff were very friendly and nice. I went there with my parents before they flew back home as a goodbye dinner, and I’m glad I chose this place :)

Proud to see one of our fellow Afghans in Montreal running a restaurant with more than 20 years of history and hospitality. A restaurant that stands strong for over two decades is not built only on good food, but on hard work, dedication, consistency, and genuine hospitality. It is a place where Afghan culture, tradition, and warmth continue to live through every meal served. Their timing on google is 11 but they close kitchen at 10:00, drove 30 min but they refuse even takenout at 10:30

Stepping into this beautiful joint on Duluth feels like stepping foot in Afghanistan. The atmosphere is lovely, warm and welcoming. Delicious, authentic food with meat cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices and a very enjoyable experience overall! Will definitely recommend to others.

Food was excellent. Portions were small but still loved it. The staff were extremely dry and rude. Asked for two tables joined for two people since the whole Restaurant was empty but they denied even though there were only two other customers besides me. Food was great but the staff ruined the experience. Price is high in my opinion compared to the food portions.

The food prices are insane. We weren't very hungry and wanted to share an appetizer and an entree and their policy is one entree per person which is insane since they're $40 each. A total ripoff. Food was insanely bad for the price. Should be half the price. I dont know how this place still has clients.

I went for dinner with a few friends and the experience was amazing. The service was great and the food was delicious. I got the Table D’Hote #1 with the lentil soup, Ashak (leek dumplings), and kabuli palaw. The soup tasted like traditional dal, very nice. The Ashak was amazing, basically dumplings with a different flavor. The Kabuli Palaw was truly the star! The rice was soft, the lamb was melting off the bone. The staff was really nice, very attentive but not hovering. You could really take your time sitting there, eating food, and enjoying conversations. Highly recommend!

Fantastic dining experience from start to finish ! It was our first time, but won't be our last. This BYOW Afghan resto had ambiance and amazing food at reasonable prices, and great service. We had the table d'hote #2 to try as much as possible. Started with a delicious lentil soup, followed by a massive Kabuli Palaw (roasted fork-tender lamb shank) accompanied by a huge plate of savory brown basmati rice, flavoured with afghan spices, raisins and carrot juliennes. Absolute amazing ! Other lamb dishes sampled were the Sabzi Chalaw (with spinach) and Korma Chalaw (tomato based), all equally delicious. Reservations are recommended, although we didn't have to wait at all, and it was Valentine's Day !

Good Afghan staples with lovely homemade dips for the bread. Had the Kabuki Palaw and it didn't disappoint.
