Whilst travelling to Montreal from Singapore, I searched for good indian restaurants and I came across India Rosa. We are South Indians and we are exposed to all types of Indian food. What caught my eye was an Indian-French fusion brunch. What a great idea! My wife and I went on a Sunday morning and had a great time. We had the omelette and the Croissant Vada. What a brilliant idea to have the vada in between the Croissant. We had great value for dollar and Mimosa. I had the Cardoman and Pistachio coffee. It was amazing. Keep up the good work, India Rosa. When we reminisce about Montreal, India Rosa will come to the top of our mind.

Absolutely great place to have drinks and eat good food. The only reason it's 4 starts instead of 5, is because i wish there was more lounge like music to create a vibe. The only reason we left is because we wanted to hear better music. If not, we would have stayed and continued drinking.

Food was amazing. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles. Mango Lassi is incredible Service was also amazing. Marc-Antoine took care of us. He was great and gave good recommendations. Will come back for sure.

We love their brunch and dinner so we had to try their special Diwali menu. We visited the Griffintown location which is beautiful and the service was outstanding as usual. We ordered chicken thighs and Tandoori shrimp for appetizers with lamb chops and seafood curry for main course. For dessert we had mango cheesecake and Indian fritters. Every dish we tried was amazing but my favourite was the seafood curry, easily the most flavourful dish I’ve had in a while. We will continue to come back!

Always love the atmosphere and service here. The food is good, would recommend the appetizer platter. Cocktails have an Indian twist to them 🔥🔥. Love the paneer appetizer and mango cheese cake from their limited Diwali menu

Went yesterday with two colleagues. So three people. When the starters arrived many had only two pieces so I asked to fix that and it took a long time. For main course we ordered one butter chicken, one rice and 3 nan. Then when it came it was 3 butter chicken! I told her she had made a mistake (who would order the same meal anyway, when you are sharing) and she told me that's what I ordered ....I looked around and everyone agreed we did not. She said that's what you ordered.... What happened to treating us like customers instead of trying to be right when you are wrong! What arrogance! Also, less of a problem, they packed everyone in the same corner of the restaurant instead of spreading us around...so noise was an issue. There was plenty of room in there. I used to like going there but now it's out of my list.

Hello Alain, We would like to clarify a few points regarding your visit, as there appears to have been a misunderstanding about how your order was communicated. When explaining our sharing-style menu, our server understood that each guest was selecting individual dishes, both for the starters and the main course. This is also why no additional pieces were requested when ordering the lamb chops: the order was understood to be an individual portion, and our regular serving of lamb chops consists of two pieces. Had it been made clear that the dishes were intended to be shared among three guests, our team could have helped adjust the quantities accordingly. The same misunderstanding occurred with the butter chicken it seems. Our server understood that three individual portions had been requested and confirmed the order on that basis. When the misunderstanding became apparent, she apologized and offered solutions, including removing the extra butter chicken dishes from the bill at no charge. This offer was declined, and the dishes were ultimately consumed. We understand that these situations can be frustrating, and we take responsibility for the miscommunication. However, we believe it is important to clarify that our team made genuine efforts to resolve the issue, rather than dismissing your concerns. We expect our staff to treat every guest respectfully, and we also believe that misunderstandings should be addressed through respectful communication on both sides. Referring to our staff as a "gang d'abrutis" is disrespectful and completely unacceptable. Our team deserves the same courtesy we extend to every guest, even when something goes wrong. A misunderstanding does not justify insulting the people working to resolve it. We are sorry your visit did not meet your expectations, but we stand by our team's efforts to find a fair solution and provide attentive service throughout the evening. Good luck finding a restaurant that will tolerate this kind of behaviour toward its service staff. The India Rosa Team

A bit over priced, the employee at the entrance was asking phone number of my boyfriend when we just entered, probably for advertising but felt weird to ask personal information right at the entrance.

Absolutely loved this place!!!! From Toronto visiting. Affordable but extra quality to detail, service and atmosphere. This salmon tikka toast was honestly perfect. I hope to return in future to try other menu items. Highly recommend

Very disappointed. We were two people and they added 15% tip already in our bill by default making it necessary to pay it, even if we don’t want to, the way we were served today. We ordered Paneer Tikka, tandoori mushrooms, both lack flavors, very blend. Then we ordered Malai Kofta and it’s presentation was not how it’s shown in their google profile. Server served us in rush and we felt like they want us to eat very quickly and go.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The ambience was good, techno house music playing on the loud side but we could hear each other. The food was decent. We took the vegetarian biryani and Kashmiri lamb. Spicy level was very mild, to western tolerance. The service was great. Clean bathroom. Chairs at the bar were comfortable. Nice place for a date or catch up with friends. I’d like to come back.

Wow! Hubby, dear companion and I shared the discovery board for 3 and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and delicious…especially the lamb. This establishment threw some shade onto our favorite upscale Indian restaurant in NYC. An added bonus was the 40% discount on wine on Wednesdays. I’ll bet it gets kind of loud when the younger crowd comes in but the vibe was good even for us senior citizens. Our server was excellent! I will recommend to anyone visiting Montreal.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Service on point, food honestly fantastic. Good portions and nicely displayed. Music was great for a Saturday night and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with your company. Valet option a big perk in this area. Will return for sure : )
