Hi Gemma, Thanks for the share. We’ll be sure to ask our Indian owners and Indian chefs if they share your opinion. Jokes aside, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it should still remain grounded in the truth. Saying our food is “not Indian” is simply inaccurate. Our cuisine is rooted in traditional Indian flavors and techniques while also embracing a modern approach. Indian cuisine is one of the most diverse in the world, and it goes far beyond the narrow version some people may expect. Not every style will suit every guest, and that’s perfectly fine. But disliking something personally is very different from misrepresenting what it is. Great food and ambiance—really enjoyed the overall experience. The bucket seats, while visually appealing, are quite uncomfortable and make it difficult to sit properly during a meal. It’s definitely something worth reconsidering. Unfortunately, if you’re a group of five, there’s no option but to sit there. I received your response but I don’t think you understood. We did sit at a a table with a booth, not at the bar.

It was a good experience having dinner here with my girlfriend. The ambiance is good. The seating is nice. The tables are well spaced and the music is chill. We had three courses, one side of one main dish and one desert, and all of it was delicious. My favourite was the lamb kebab.

Great food, great drinks, great service. Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The atmosphere is very intimate and soothing, the music was also just the right volume, not too loud so you can actually have a conversation. The portions were generous, we had a hard time finishing what we ordered. I highly recommend.

A really nice restaurant with amazing food, the waiters are quick and attentive to your needs. I took the chicken madras and it was super great !!

I want to give 0 start as per its hype total garbage food even poor service and as per cost food quantity is very very low, you have to call someone again and again for ordering i means i will recommend never form to this place again even we didn’t cut the cake here we took it back. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

The food and waitress we’re great, but the food took over an hour to arrive and there wasn’t any baby booster seats nor any diaper changing table in the bathroom.

Hello Momo, We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your Americano didn’t meet expectations, that’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide. That said, we can’t help but feel a bit surprised by the overall rating. If the coffee wasn’t to your liking, our team would have gladly replaced it on the spot had we been made aware. We’re always here to make things right in real time. As for the service, food, and ambiance, it’s hard for us to understand how a single Americano could lead to a 1-star rating across the board. Did the coffee really impact the entire atmosphere of the restaurant to that extent? That’s an interesting takeaway. We always encourage our guests to let us know during their visit if something isn’t right, it gives us the opportunity to turn things around and ensure a much better experience. We chose India Rosa for our anniversary dinner, a special occasion we were really looking forward to. Big mistake. The food was underwhelming, and to make matters worse, we both woke up sick the next morning with what could only be food poisoning.

We were also not informed that you were celebrating an anniversary, had we known, we would have gladly marked the occasion. I always have a good experience at India Rosa but this time it wasn’t the same. We came in with a toddler and there was no high chair available this definitely put us off. We booked the reservation with an understanding that minors will be accompanying and I assumed (mybad) that the restaurant staff will be able to accommodate us but unfortunately it isn’t that way. Yes you want to sell Indian food in a fancy restaurant but also be open to accommodating new families with little ones. We weren’t able to sit as a family and eat as one person had to be with the toddler, if we had a high chair this would have not happened. The experience was very off putting unfortunately for us. Thank you.

Hello Karishma, We completely understand how important comfort is when dining with children. At the moment, we don’t offer high chairs or booster seats in the restaurant. This is mainly due to the layout of our dining room and the style of service we provide. We aim to maintain a safe, fluid environment for both our guests and our team. Adding this type of equipment would unfortunately impact circulation and service efficiency. We understand this may not suit every situation, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed very much the food and the drinks. Super good atmosphere and very comfortable. Coraline (I really hope this is her name) was lovely. Can’t wait to return.

I went to Montreal three years ago and I still think about this AMAZING Indian restaurant. If I ever go back, it would honestly be just for this place. Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had across 30 countries, every single meal/drink ….are delicious

Always great food and service. Music was a touch too loud for dinner time. Lip-reading and shouting across the table overtop of everyone’s food isn’t ideal.

Great ambience and cocktails. The bartender impressed us by making an off-menu drink. Food tasted good, but the meat quality was very disappointing—lamb chops were chewy and the butter chicken wasn’t tender. Service was good, no complaints. Overall a good experience, but not worth the price for the food quality.
