Second time coming here for brunch and the food is delicious and very filling! The chicken and waffles didn't disappoint! The space has a warm ambiance with a gorgeous aesthetic! Would definitely recommend

Great Brunch Spot - I was very skeptic about the place before but they were spot on for Brunch, well prepared food and definitely recommended

If you are an Indian & looking for Indian food, I am afraid this is not the place. No spice, No taste. With little bit of mustard oil, turmeric & chili powder, green chilli and salt anybody can prepare a better salmon. Chicken Tikka Masala and Kolkata Prawn curry were not good at all. Did not like the garlic naan as well. Folks with me did not much appreciate the veg curries as well. Service and Atmosphere are good.

Visited India Rosa and visually, it’s a stunning place. The aesthetic is beautiful — modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The food presentation is also excellent; every dish looks carefully curated and very Instagram-worthy. However, when it comes to flavor, the dishes felt noticeably toned down in terms of spice and depth. It seems like the menu is catered toward a milder palate, which might suit some guests, but if you’re used to bold and vibrant Indian flavors, it can feel a bit bland. Another thing that stood out was the self-added tipping system, which felt a little unusual during checkout. Overall, while the ambience and presentation are impressive, I personally wouldn’t visit again. It would be great if they offered customizable spice levels so everyone could enjoy the food according to their preference.

That being said, it is important to note that our identity is based on a modern vision of India, which means we curated our traditional family recipes to Montreal's crowd. It is always possible to mention to your waiter directly to get your dishes ''Indian Spicy'' to get the full experience if you like it on the bolder side! 🌶️ As for the ''self-added tipping'', it is a common practice in Montreal to let our customer decide on the amount they want to leave for the tip. We came on Sunday feb 1st in the morning, and it was our first time trying the brunch menu at India Rosa. We were hesitant to try it, out in fear the food would not be as good as it looks but I’m so glad we tried. The food is not overhyped!! Best chicken & waffles I’ve had. Our server Alice (I hope I remembered her name right) was very attentive, and super sweet. We never had to wait around for anything. Her service really made the experience memorable.

This is our third time at this location and it didn't disappoint. The one thing that was a negative is that we had to send back one of our dishes because it wasn't warm enough. Other than that, 5 stars! Super fresh ingredients, tasty food, great service, great atmosphere.

I love love love this place Our go to brunch spot. They keep enhancing the brunch menu which is awesome I have been here for dinner as well but as a vegetarian I have exhausted all your menu items so much that i can no longer repeat, I hope you guys add some new vegetarian items . They recently added panjiri to brunch and it’s to die for. I have been here on birthdays with my friends, on Diwali on karwa chauth & what not.

Great Indian fusion brunch. Prices are very reasonable. Very bright and cozy diningroom. Many sizes of tables to accomodate small or big groups. The I recommend the smoothies. We had the Exotic, Energy and Mango Lassi. They were all delicious. The butter chicken was a hit. The chicken waffle was amazing too, however, you need a big appetite for that one! The Tikka club was good but not very big. The vegetarian biryani was delicious.

Excellent service, food and ambience for a Sunday brunch! Everyone was fully satisfied! Prosecco with cardamom syrup as a special order drink - thanks bartender. Definitely returning, again!

Hi Mike, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We are genuinely sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. To be completely honest, describing our food as “from a can” made us smile a little, mostly because it couldn’t be further from reality. Our sauces are simmered in-house, with fresh ingredients, and every dish is prepared by trained Indian chefs. We don’t do shortcuts, canned curries, and bottled sauces. It’s disappointing to hear that this wasn’t reflected during your visit. That being said, if you ever decide to give us another try, we’d be more than happy to guide you through dishes that better match what you’re looking for. Loved the vibe and the quality of the food—everything was flavorful and well presented. The service was great, and the experience felt very different from the usual Indian restaurants in the GTA. Portion sizes are a bit small, though.
