When I came here to eat with friends, the waiter looked arrogant and somewhat disrespectful. I called many times, but they ignored me. No waiter often passed by us, so we had to stand up and look for the waiter.

My girlfriend went to eat at lunch today (13:00), she came back telling me how she was given some attitude by the servers. Two of them were rude and did not bother asking if it was their first time and did not present the menu either, the restaurant was not busy and still, the service was slow and unwelcoming.

I absolutely loved Gyubee, it’s such a great spot for all-you-can-eat BBQ. For the price, you get an impressive range of options, and the variety really makes the experience feel worth it. There’s something for everyone, and it never feels repetitive. The highlight for me was definitely the meat selection, especially the thinly sliced cuts. They cook quickly on the grill and come out incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the beef, and it makes a huge difference compared to other BBQ places. That said, I’d probably skip the seafood next time. It takes quite a while to cook, especially since the grill doesn’t get super hot even at its highest setting. It kind of slows down the pace of the meal, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to enjoy as many items as possible. The desserts were honestly one of the best parts. The soft serve ice cream was smooth and refreshing, and the crème brûlée was surprisingly good for an all-you-can-eat spot. It was so creamy with that nice caramelized top. I ended up having way too many, but no regrets at all. Just became my fave place!!! Also the service is so good, super fast and welcoming!

While traveling through Montreal, I came in expecting a traditional Japanese restaurant experience. I was pleasantly surprised. The food I helped prepared from their kitchen at my table grill was delicious. I left pleased and stuffed. Wonderful atmosphere.

New favorite all you can eat place in Montreal. Special thanks to Melina, who was absolutely amazing and helped us navigate the menu since it was our first time at Gyubee. Fast service and great choice of meat.

The food was average, nothing really stood out. The service was not friendly—none of the staff smiled or made us feel welcome. When leaving, even the receptionist didn’t acknowledge us or say thank you. Overall, a disappointing experience.

my boyfriend and i’s favourite place of all time, we are happily regulars and absolutely ADORE the food here, we have tried so many japanese/korean bbqs in montreal and nothing has come close to being as good as Gyubee! today was our 3 year anniversary and we couldnt have chosen anything better than this, such quick service and never any mistakes.🥰

We went to the gyubee restaurant today and it was our first time here to eat dinner so we were really excited and the time was 6 pm. The front desk guy at the counter immediately asked us if we were on the waiting list and we said we weren't there yet I said okay put us on the waiting list but he said the only available seats were at 8:30pm so we didn't take it because I still had to wait that long two and a half hours just to eat at this restaurant. So we had nothing to do but wait so we just moved to the other restaurant at Sota BBQ Korean and there we were immediately let in and seated immediately.

Their reservation service is not good. Can’t reserve fo 2 people. Only allows 6 or more people for reservations. I live in west island. I called in advance to make reservations but they said join the waitlist on google. We left house at 5:15pm. GPS says 21 mins to get there then still reloading the waitlist page. Says “Says theres no waitlist and come in person. When we got there, THERE IS APPARENTLY WAITING LIST. I ask the guy what time did they open the waiting list and he said 32 mins ago. So theres no way that I checked before that there is no waiting list. There are 29 people ahead of us when we got there. Pretty bad right. Ruin our anniversary and had to come back to west island to look for other restaurants. I know it was a Saturday but, Gyubee needs a better system than that. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY NOT GOOD. I was just asking for seat and the guy was so mean. VERY NOT ACCEPTABLE
