Very disappointed with the service we received from our waitress, Alice tonight. 😕 She was unfriendly and unwelcoming the whole time. When I asked simple questions about the food and drink, she was dismissive and rolled her eyes multiple times. Her actions seemed like she was annoyed to be there. Also our water glasses were never refilled throughout the meal… I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that management addresses the issue…We genuinely enjoy the food and have had positive experiences in the past but the level of service we received tonight was unacceptable and took away from an enjoyable evening.

Very disappointed with the service. I’ve been to many all-you-can-eat restaurants and have never experienced this kind of treatment before. When we placed our order, the server responded with, “5 orders of beef?” with a look of shock and apparent disgust on his face, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. For context, we were a group of 6 adults, so the order was completely reasonable. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a bad impression, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on the service we received.

I’ve been a regular at Gyubee Japanese Grill for dinner and have always enjoyed the food and service, even with the occasional wait. That's why I gave 5 stars before. However, I recently visited for lunch for the first time, and it was a disappointing experience compared to dinner. The food selection felt quite limited which is still fine as the charge is lower comparing to dinner. Well, the service was not up to the usual standard. While most of the staff were fine, I had a particularly unpleasant interaction with one waitress. I asked her for an item, and she agreed, but it never arrived, forcing me to ask another server instead. When I tried to communicate in Chinese (which is common here as most staff are trilingual in English, French, and Chinese), she responded very aggressively, saying she didn't understand. I understand that language barriers can happen, but her tone was unnecessarily rude. It felt like asking for service in Chinese was an offense. It’s disheartening to see such a drop in service quality during lunch hours. I hope management looks into this, as I would love to continue coming back.

Great food and great place. The workers are really nice and polite and you get the food pretty fast so no need to wait for a while. We were served by Mr Hanton Wong, he was really hospitable.

Ada and Victor were wonderful with our big group. The food was delicious and there almost before we ordered it. A great place for a group dinner.

Everything was very fresh and really good. Service was super fast and good, and the staff were friendly. Honestly it’s been a long time I didn’t eat this much at an all-you-can-eat place like I did at Gyubee. I would definitely come back again.

Nothing just compare the quality of meat from gyubee, It is so good! I love how affordable their lunch menus as well and it's very good selection for its price as well! Servers were very fast and attentive too.

Came in to get a table and all of the employees looked at us and walked away. Not one employee said a word to us to let us know if we would be seated or not, they just stared at us and continued walking around. We stood there for 10 minutes.

Honestly one of the best kbbq style restaurants around. The meat quality is high, the sides are great and the service has always been exceptional. We had the pleasure of being served by Ryan this evening who was an attentive and extremely funny waiter.

Honestly, the customer service at this place becomes none-existent after you are seated. Staff is not necessarily rude but all have unpleasant demeanours definitely makes you want to finish your meal quickly and leave if that’s their goal lol. They practically toss your plates at you no eye contact and everything else is just lack luster compared to other bbq places that are across.

When I came here to eat with friends, the waiter looked arrogant and somewhat disrespectful. I called many times, but they ignored me. No waiter often passed by us, so we had to stand up and look for the waiter.

My girlfriend went to eat at lunch today (13:00), she came back telling me how she was given some attitude by the servers. Two of them were rude and did not bother asking if it was their first time and did not present the menu either, the restaurant was not busy and still, the service was slow and unwelcoming.
