Amazing meat quality! Fast service despite it being formula 1 weekend and a super full restaurant. Loved their selection of meats and it was really great how the server also explained cooking time for each meat he brought. Drinks were good too and interesting. All in all a great experience. Would come again

Hands down the best Korean bbq in downtown Montreal. Staff is friendly, menu has options for everyone and is inclusive for people with different dietary preferences, side dishes are delicious, and the bbq experience is amazing overall.

The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient; they are all awesome! The quality of the food is top-notch, and the portions are surprisingly generous, especially for the price. The menu for four is perfect. We initially thought there wouldn't be enough food, but we were eating our words two hours later. It’s a great spot for groups or a tête-à-tête, as the ambient noise is at a perfect level and you don't need to scream to be heard. The cocktails are quite good, and they have a great deal if you order a round of four. I strongly recommend that you make a reservation if you want to go between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, Thursday through Sunday, or anytime during the summer.

Me and my family love the restaurant in Montreal! We come atleast twice a month. Love the service, the staff is amazing and completely accommodating. The drinks are delicious and always refreshing! The city beautiful and and there is always something to do. We always end up wanting to stay longer with each visit.

Easily my most visited restaurant in Montreal, I highly recommend everyone to pass by Gyu-Kaku if you're looking for an authentic Japanese BBQ experience. They have a wide variety of menu items and also a seasonal menu that includes some nice surprises here and there.

Go there for their lunch combo. $20 for 3 meats to grill, a salad and miso soup. Really good value for the quality of meat. The angus beef rib was the best. The other two meats I got were cut badly, with some small and broken pieces (small enough to barely fit on the grill). But for the price, it wasn't a big deal. The service was also attentive and friendly. They checked on us throughout the meal, and changed the grill for us without prompting. Our table also ordered the ramen and that's a skip. Not very good.

Food was excellent, but the values on the bill were confusing. It was not clear if tips were included or not. Machine to pay is still using tips recommendation 18% or above.
