The chocolate chip cookie was really good, but the hollow canele was disappointing. The cortado was weak and way too milky. Service was ok, though not especially friendly. When I asked for regular milk she corrected me to say cow’s milk. There’s nowhere to sit and the vibe is basically get in-get out.

We tried the butter croissants and chocolatine aux amandes and everything was very underwhelming. We couldn’t taste any butter in the croissants + they were very dry! 😬 The cocolatine aux amandes had no almond paste inside meaning we didn’t get any almond taste from it. Instead they had a lot of almond slices on top (and inside?) which is fine but it’s not the same as having that tasty almond paste. And the chocolate that was used inside was too greasy and sweet and there was A LOT of it. Overall we found everything looks good and appetizing on the shelves but the quality and taste was very underwhelming. There are tons of other patisseries around with better quality croissants.

C'était clairement indiqué que la chocolatines étaient fourrées avec une riche Ganache au chocolat avec des amandes effilées. Cependant, seule la couverture est un appareil de double cuisson de crème d'amande. C'est construit ainsi et si vous souhaitiez un croissant aux amandes avec de la crème d'amande, fallait le demander simplement car nous en avons. Donc vous avez mangé un produit en double cuisson au chocolat clairement indiqué tel quel. Vous avis est malheureusement biaisé.

Confused customer here. I placed an order last Wednesday to pick it up today evening (Friday). I called but they couldn't find my order in the system! It's unclear how to place orders. How many days in advance should I schedule my pickup date? Is there limit for in-store purchases? Is there limit for in advanced orders? Will you call when my order is ready? Will you call if my order got canceled? Like I feel all these questions is not customer's responsibility to answer. Will I visit again? Yes but only if im alone or with someone, but not to take a gift order or large box. The process is unclear regarding that. It is good for walk in. Will I place an order in advance? Highly unlikely because my order went missing. And I don't understand the process. Will I change my rating? Depends. Last month my first visit was awesome I left 5 stars, it can go up and down but I really don't know how to place an order. Although I left today with half my order I should give credit to the staff wearing a cap, she tried to fix the situation and was nice, other than that im disappointed with my order experience. EDIT: I tried to send a feedback and inquiry about my order in two separate emails but radio silence. So I posted here

After checking with the team, we confirmed that the person who took your order noted that they should call you back if any products were unavailable. The oversight was therefore on our end. Queen Elizabeth cupcake was delicious. I'd previously only ever had the grocery store version but this had such nicer texture, wow. Chouquettes were good, even got an extra one. Mushroom and goat cheese galette was satisfying.

Amazing chocolat chip cookie! The dough is soft and moist, the chocolate is high quality. The dough to chocolate ratio is also perfect in my opinion, you can taste the actual cookie, not just the chocolate. Easily in my top 3 cookies!

The decor was so frigid, modern, and aggressively metallic that I half expected my baguette to be served by a nurse in scrubs. Now, let’s talk about the so-called baguette. I was looking for that classic, airy masterpiece with a crust so crisp it crackles on command. Naturally, I went straight for the "coude"—the ultimate litmus test of bread making. Instead of a satisfying, effortless snap, I found myself locked in a high-stakes wrestling match with a baked good. This thing had the structural integrity and chewiness of a thick rubber hose. I’m entirely convinced I could have folded it in half and used it as a bungee cord. It didn't break; it just defied physics. As a self-respecting bread enthusiast, I did the only logical thing: I left the rubber weapon on the counter and walked out. But the comedy routine didn't end there. Despite actually paying for this architectural hazard, I was chased down the street by an employee accusing me of grand theft dough. Because honestly, if I were going to risk a criminal record and sully my good reputation, do they really think it would be for a piece of vulcanized rubber? Our second time here, and hope they will open one in Toronto! This bakery is a must-visit if you're in Montreal. In fact, it's almost a pilgrimage for bread and pastry lovers. We picked up olive bread, potato bread, a sourdough bâtard, almond croissant, mushroom brioche, and a few other items. every single item was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted divine! Our visit was made even more memorable by Guillaume himself, who served us personally and took the time to chat with us and explain each product. We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Guillaume, for making our experience so enjoyable and worthwhile!

Love all the pastries, salty and sweat, so I go there quite often. But today I got a coffee and it smelled and tasted, horribly and terribly, of plastic. Please change your cups, I had to toss it into trash bin!

It tasted really good, and maybe I should just go earlier, but I went at 4 PM and the bread was tough... I did notice that they do rotation which is fine, but I think there were like 6 loaves left, and the other ones looked much fresher, and he reached for the oldest loaf. So probably just a quiet day with a slow turnover. I will give them another chance.
