First time going to the new location. I was a regular customer at the previous location downtown. First of all, it's a down grade as the ambiance is completely different, less welcoming and kinda dull. The service was ok...nothing special. The food (burger) was good (but different than previous location). My opinion is, if you serve a burger as a main course with fries, you there should be a decent amount of them, not 4-5 fries lying flat on the plate. This is ridiculous. If cost for fries is an issue, I recommend upping the price by 3-4$ and doubling the portion. This also goes for the poutine. Receiving a half empty bowl doesn't look good. The burger and fries should be the "flagship meal" for any pub and it's clearly not for this establishment. We had 2 burger plates (1 single patty and 1 double patty), one with fries and the other switch to a poutine (side). 1 pint and 1 glass of beer...87$ (including tip)! This is too expensive considering the portions and "wow" factor. Price is subjective, if the burger was amazing with a good portion of fries with great beer and dynamic setting, the price would have been justified but unfortunately, it wasn't.
