Let’s start with the positive: the service was great, the server was nice and we enjoyed the experience all in all.We only had appetizers which seems to be the mistake. The main courses around us looked great, but somehow the appetizers were a bit disappointing. Ok, decent, but nowhere close to amazing. I am a huge tartar and four gras fan and the ones I tried here were not wonderful.All in all, I would go again, but I would not order the tartars or the foie gras.

We came to Gaspar for Valentines day and had a great time. The prix fixe menu was delicious and straightforward with the Bison Carpaccio and the Cavatelli being our favorites. Service was great for us, our server Nicholas was awesome, very attentive and super friendly. There were a few times food was brought to us that we hadn't ordered, but it didn't delay or negatively hurt our experience.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 course meal for Valentine’s Day, and our waiter Nicholas was fantastic. He gave us detailed explanations about the wine pairings and gave great recommendations for our delicious meal. Loved it and highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for Nicholas.

We came in for brunch to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a group of six, and Nicholas took amazing care of us. He was attentive, patient, and incredibly kind, making sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. He handled our group effortlessly and added thoughtful touches that made the birthday celebration feel extra special. Nicholas truly made our brunch memorable — excellent service from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

We were staying in the Auberge du Vieux-Port hotel, and had dinner at Gaspar one evening. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Even though the restaurant is quite large, it had an intimate feel. The best part was the personal connections we made with the staff. Emma, who we had met earlier in the week at the hotel, brought such a personal and warm touch to our entire experience - and when we saw her at Gaspar, it was the same. Our server was Dominic, and he is the definition of a true professional. With their guidance, we ate delicious food (highly recommend the French Onion soup!), drank nice wine, and chatted all night. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed my seat at the bar 4 nights in a row. Food, service, and cocktails all were consistently good. Classy atmosphere. Marguerite, the Bar Manager, and Khaled, her coworker, were expert, intelligent, and sociable. (forgive me if I’ve misspelled your name Khaled.). Will Definitely return when I come back to Montreal.

We had a party of 15, total confusion (among us) and the staff handled it all with professionalism, smiles and grace. Class act. Nicolas, Chris & Ricky and one other staff whose name we didn't get. The woman who greeted us at the door was also exceptional. Whoever is doing the hiring and training here is the GOAT! Ha Food was delicious, fast and beautifully plated. Ambiance is very "where it's at". Highly recommend!!!
