Service was excellent and very friendly. I was a little disappointed with my steak (filet mignon) being slightly overcooked from what I asked. I ordered it medium, and it was almost close to being well done

Michael provided exceptional service throughout our evening at Gaspar Brasserie. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations that truly elevated our dining experience. We highly recommend the burger de bœuf, cavatelli, pierre grillée, ris de veau, and burrata — each dish was outstanding and full of flavor. Michael’s professionalism and friendly attitude made us feel welcome from start to finish. Thank you, Michael, for a fantastic experience. We look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful dinner here last night. We started with the cheese and charcuteries, which was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of the evening. For the main course, we had the steak fries, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was excellent throughout the meal. Hugo was our server, and he was professional, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. I also enjoyed the red sangria, which paired nicely with the meal. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. We had a great experience!

Very nice place, but... that's it... just the place. You can find better food basically ANYWHERE just around the block. Steak Fries: What a joke !.. a piece of brisket with zero resemblance to a steak. Foie gras: Save your money. Better go to the grocery store and buy it on a can, it will be way better !. Confit Duck: Good flavor, but dry (like most of places). Oysters: Average.

Nicholas was a blast! Gave great service and was attuned the vibe of the party. Food was great & the kitchen was able to adapt to allergies / preferences easily. Would recommend for celebrations and girls nights!

Steak frites were excellent. Oysters were the best I’ve eaten in Canada. Combine outstanding food with attentive service results in a memorable experience! We ate there three times in one week and the manager noticed and was very kind. Our waiter, KHaled, provided superior service in a friendly manner. Jim D.

We came for the new summer live Jazz Brunch, and was greeted by Chris. Chris was very polite and welcoming, make the experience great! The food was top notch, I really recommend the French toast to start, and the steak and eggs to top it off as a main! Will definitely come back, for a summer evening at this restaurant

Very long overdue review, but we went to Gaspar to celebrate a special occasion, and we left feeling a part of the family. The staff was exceptional, from service to generosity, to atmosphere. The food was amazing, and they have a nice wine selection. Overall, I would recommend Gaspar to everyone whether you live here and want a nice time, or discovering Montreal and just passing through. A really big thank you to the team that made us feel super welcome!

We were there for a dinner after reading all the great reviews. We were very disappointed with our own dinning experience. They ran out of their mains such as the rack of lamb and seabass. I had to order the duck and it was overcooked and dry. My husband and my son ordered the steaks. The steaks were just ok. The appetizers and wine were good.

We had a reservation at 8, they were rude since we arrived and left us waiting for 40 minutes, unattended on the side. Said they would bring complementary drinks and that took them 30 mins and they would say our table would be ready “in two minutes” since we arrived! We ended up leaving very disappointed…

My party and I had a wonderful time here! We traveled to Montreal and felt warmly welcomed by all the staff! Our waiter Micheal was very insightful about the menu and recommended wonderful dishes and alcohol! As travelers we had the best experience and had a 5 star time! Would defintley recommend!
