Ordered two dishes it took more than 30 mins to get. Extremely disappointed with the service the food was not that great either. When we asked how much longer would it take they said 15 minutes but never received it in 15 minutes.

Very disappointing. I’ve been to fuwa fuwa in Toronto and it was always delicious. The pancakes were flat and dry and did NOT taste like Japanese soufflé at all. Also, the prices were pretty high for what it is. I ordered oat milk matcha latte but it came with regular milk.

This cafe serves Japanese-style Buffy pancakes and a wide selection of cold and hot drinks. The yellow painting on the wall is energizing, and the cafe is two stories high.

It took 30 min to received the food, there was no one else. When the food arrived, the plate wasn’t clean and the pancakes were ok but definitely not the same as original Japanese pancakes. The atmosphere was strange, french song were playing the whole time and the robot waiter wasn’t working.

I stopped by on a Monday late afternoon for takeaway dessert to eat later. The shop was pretty empty with no staff in sight but I someone appeared within a minute to help me. I ordered the matcha pancake and it was ready in 4-5 minutes. When I ate it later in the evening I thought it was ok. I expected it to be a big more spongy, it definitely didn’t have any ‘bounce’ to it like you expect out of a soufflé. The strawberries were not at all sweet. Overall it was good but for the price point around $20, I can’t say I’d order another one.

if i could give service 0 stars i would. I ordered creme brulee pancakes excited because it looked good. i recieved the pancakes took 2 bites , pancakes were delicious no complaints at all. I tried the cream and almost puked , tasted sour and bad. i couldnt enjoy it no matter how hard i tried. I went to ask for a replacement because their product wasnt up to par, ordered something 6.99 and she only let me take one regardless of the creme brulee pancakes being 19$ the fact that i went to ask her to replace and she doesnt even speak a single word in english and telling me its my fault because i ordered this, i wouldnt order sour creme brulee if my life depended on it. train your staff better you are in downtown montreal a lot of tourists come by. very unwelcoming. this place was good when first opened but i would avoid this at any cost now.

These pancakes tasted SALTY as hell. I don’t know if there was a mistake in the making or if the pancakes are supposed to taste like that, but it was very weird. It was like eating chocolate with strawberries and salt. 🤮

The workers that worked that day don’t even know how to make strawberry refresher and the customer service is bad. Do not come in this place if you don’t want ur food to not looking like in the menu! They don’t want to do frappes and once you drink it you taste. Straight milk and flavouring. I’m not usually one to write reviews but I don’t want other people to feel the sheer disappointment I felt coming today. I thought it was a cute place I could go to on this rainy day (04/14/2026). Great place with an amazing vibe. Everything was really enjoyable - the atmosphere, the concept, and especially the desserts, which were absolutely delicious. The service was a bit slow, but honestly, it’s easy to forgive because of the overall experience. Plus, the robot waiter adds a fun and memorable touch. Overall, a very cool spot - definitely worth visiting, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

Very good location for different menu. Unique pastries and very delicious. Service is surprising. They serve the orders by a robot which is a genuine experience. Taste of cappuccino was very good. The price is good. I smelled the burnt oil in front the entrance door. It is not a big deal, but I think they need a better ventilation.

I've been to Fwa Fwa shop in downtown Montreal with family and we have been really surprise by the quality of the food. this shop is not cheap at all, I'll say even the opposite, it's an expensive shop, so we were expecting a minimum of quality based on the bill that we paid, but unfortunately they served very old salad that we really not eatable, so we complained and they change our plate with a fresh and new salad (thankfully). Same with another plate, we asked for a specific sauce and they served other one that my son didn't like and when we asked was it this one on the menu, they told us oh no but we don't have this one so we gave another one. Ok but the minimum is the inform us and ask us what do we want to replace the missing one instead of imposing one to us !!
