Shared the smoked meat sandwich plate. It was very tasty and good value. Also had nice beer. Cool atmosphere inside, very busy and fun.

Absolutely great experience, music, atmosphere, food, just everything was great. Mackenzie was amazing, she made it 10x better. Definitely will be back soon!!
Mackenzie treated us very well and gave us the best customer service. She mad our first time in Montreal a great experience. Would definitely come back
Great burgers and drinks
Chill place. The ambiance gives a mixed of western meet Caribbean meet African culture. The inside looks old, but i figured that part of the esthetic. Order a chicken poutine, well... little too dry, i think. I do not know what I was expecting (I am yet to know how authentic poutine is supposed to taste), but hey, other tables food looked delicious. Maybe should have asked their speciality. Service was good but slow since it is just one person who was working in forefront. But overall, a good place.
I looked for the busiest place that sold smoked meat and you did not disappoint. This was the best smoked sandwich I had eaten in my life absolutely delicious 🤤
pretty good
Excellent drinks and food, smoked meat was fatty which we loved, as it’s brisket and it’s gotta have that jiggle. Would definitely return.
I hate leaving poor reviews but I feel like this restaurant does not deserve its current 4.4 star rating (as of May 2026 at least), and my hope is that anyone who cares about food quality will see this review and make an informed decision. Now, some details: Let's start with the GOOD (and it's a short list): 1. The place was somewhat busy when we arrived, so we appreciated that they had space for us. 2. My friend said his Long Island Iced Tea was "very good", and made just right. Now onto the BAD and the UGLY: Myself and my friend were excited by the promise of "smoked meat", and both of us agreed in the end that this was most certainly a case of false advertising. My friend had a "smoked meat" sandwich and he found it very disappointing, and was certain that there was no smoked meat on it, but rather, only simple deli meats chopped finely. For myself, I had an entirely unappetizing "smoked meat" poutine which also had no smoked meat at all, but rather, a layer of meat chopped so finely that I couldn't tell what it was (blanched roast beef?). It was extremely bland and had no smoked flavour whatsoever. Below this was a soggy mass of fries and gravy and completely melted cheese curds. Because the dish came so hot, and came served with a plastic fork, I had the frustrating experience of having to hold the fork near the bottom, because it was constantly bending because of the heat. Anytime I tried to eat more than the top layer of "smoked" meat, my fork would bend in such a way that the melted cheese would whip into my face whenever I tried to get a bite. So frustrating. As for drinks, I had a virgin pina colada which was also very disappointing. Ice water with an excessive amount of pineapple and coconut syrup, which was so sickly sweet I had to add water to it to make it drinkable. There was no creamy component to it at all and that I what I enjoy most about a pina colada. This one was the worst I'd ever had, hands down. To add to my frustrations, our server was apparently busy enough that he never checked on us once in our entire meal, which meant that I had an empty water glass and only this sickly sweet "pina colada" to accompany my way too hot "smoked meat" poutine with the plastic fork. Oh, and did I forget to mention the claustrophobic assortment of tables mashed together so tight you cannot move? BY FAR the WORST dining experience in as long as I can remember. There is a near-zero chance I would ever go back. PS. The picture is of my poutine at the time I gave up on it (approximately half left). I hate wasting food, so that is saying a lot.
Best hamburger ever had Delicious smoked meat sandwich
Absolutely amazing food and service!!!
Great location for a small pub with good vibe
Food was great and service was even better. Highly recommend
Nothing fancy, but a fun, small place. We visited during the May 2026 long weekend on a hockey game night. That was fun! The smoked meat sandwich was very good and it had a lot of meat. Tried their Philly cheesesteak and it was ok, very heavy for my taste, but my partner liked it. Also had the fried onion rings and it was a very big portion. Heavy deep fried too, couldn’t finish it all. Overall, it was a fun experience, decent prices for both food and drinks. Like what you’d expect in a non-fancy sports bar. We’d come back!
It took them more than 20 minutes to get my order, but the food is not too bad
Great spot, great vibe highly recommend.
Bartender is the best!
Really good all around. If you are in the area, I recommend going here
Portions were just right. Burgers were tasty. Vibes were good! Got the Franklin Burger.
One of the best smoked meat in old Montreal!!
Please stop filling delivery/ubereats Philly cheese steaks to the brim. I know it’s strange, but the result you get on Uber Eats is a $30 non edible mess. 8/12 deliveries past 12 months are like this. Sometimes I get lucky, and I get a clean, delicious sandwich.
Cool retro bar interior, food came out fast, service was good. It was my first time trying Montreal smoked meat, very yum!
Great service and atmosphere in a cute little space. The food is stellar. Only downside are the steep prices.
Phenomenal atmosphere, food, and vibes. The smash burger was so good I couldn’t get a photo before it was finished and the wings were cooked perfectly. This place is a hidden gem. Great drinks and the servers, bartender, and manager will give great service and recommendations for local spots. Best smash burger in Montreal from someone who is very picky on burgers.
Food and service were excellent. Our bartender Jeff was professional, friendly and sociable. Would recommend to anyone to try in the area
