Overpriced, food isn’t great. I ordered the pina colada was way too sweet, and the beyond meat sub didn’t have any veggies in it. Burgers are subpar.

This restaurant makes amazing drinks, we got our food before our drinks and the bartender was kind enough to order us drinks on the house. Awesome environment, shoutout Jeff for making our birthday trip memorable!

Service, food, and atmosphere were all incredible!!! Definitely will be coming back when I visit Montreal in the future. Shoutout to our server Jeff, he was amazing 10/10 service. I ordered the regular smoked meat sandwich. The meat was juicy snd delicious, the sourdough bread was freshly baked, the pickle had a nice crunch, and the mustard gave a nice acidic kick! Mouthwatering is definitely an understatement! As someone who takes pride in the food they eat, I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Montreal to come to this gem of a restaurant.

Visiting Montreal for an Orchestra tour, had a local recommend Franklin’s and it lived up to expectation! The service was fast, atmosphere was fun, and food was amazing. Our server, Jeff was very kind and welcoming, and overall we had an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Stumbled upon this place accidentally and honestly did not expect to be this impressed. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was the real deal, perfectly tender and generously stacked just the way it should be. The cheesesteak hoagie was equally amazing, juicy, cheesy and honestly one of the better ones I've had in the city.

The incredibly attentive, young waiter was playing anthem after anthem! We had delicious poutine with some beers in this quirky spot conveniently located wandering distance from the hotel. The decor was striking, the bathroom was clean, and the overall atmosphere was very inviting. I think the wall across from us was covered in.... Playful art 😉

This place used to be a GEM! (I USED TO GIVE THIS PLACE a 9.5/10 for their Montreal Smoked meat sub).When I visit Montreal I always go here, I've been here hundreds of times! Now coming back to Montreal after 2 years, what a complete dissapointment! They changed the sandwich completely and it's horrible! NOW it's a 1/10. They dont put the sandwich in a toasted sub bread anymore, and the meat is pure slime. They used to toast the sub and chop up the Montreal smoked meat on a grill with some nice char on it , but now I can't let myself step foot in this place! It's horrible when a place you used to cherish and love , changes! If Franklin management is reading this please go back to your old Montreal smoked meat style because the new version of the sandwich you're making is not it!

Great service vibes and food! Still thinking about this Philly cheesesteak sandwich!!!! The Montreal smoked meat was good a well - although I think could have been better if toasted - but we ate every bite!

If you wanted to try smoked meats this is the place to go! Delicious food and quick service though it seems a bit cramped it’s actually a very comfortable dining experience with a nice atmosphere

Amazing food and excellent service! Came here on a whim when exploring downtown. Server was super nice and friendly, Moscow mule was best ive had in a while! Mint to be was amazing! The hot dogs were the best ive had in Montréal. Prices were all great! I would absolutely come back, love it here! Oh and the music choice were also great.

5 hockey games, amazing drinks, kick ass tunes, the bartender MacKenzie was amazing, the food was absolute fire. The poutine and Philly cheese steak sandwich were top notch, will never not say this place is amazing.

let me preface this by saying we came here with our toddler which, from the pictures and reviews, seemed like it would be fine. none of the pictures showed the giant wall covered in playboy magazines 😬 add in that the music was BLASTING and they don’t have high chairs, we had to eat and run as quickly as possible. suffice it to say we’re not the target audience for this environment, a younger crowd may enjoy it more. I don’t fault the restaurant for this, just good to know. the food was fairly good. my husband really enjoyed his smash burger and I liked the poutine, though it was veryyyyy salty. the hoagie was… not great. it really wasn’t a hoagie, I didn’t know what to make of the meat that was on it, it was almost like bacon but not. it was also pretty sparse. service was not super friendly but not bad. overall, wouldn’t come back but don’t not recommend.
