Haidilao is my favorite hot pot spot in Montreal, as well as my go-to spot for my birthday (which I did again a couple of days ago). It was my first time trying out their VIP room, lovely space with decorations, we managed to fit 10 people comfortably around the table. The privacy of the room as well as how soundproofed it was enhanced the experience of being in my own bubble with my loved ones. I have a friend who has a severe seafood allergy, but was still able to enjoy a full meal without feeling left out as there are many different things on the menu with icon indicators for people who have specific allergies. Service was absolutely amazing, huge shout out to our server Will who checked on us often to make sure we were ok and got everything we needed (as well as the other staff who brought in the food and filled the broth, we appreciate y’all). Definitely planning to book the VIP room again next year!
