When this Haidilao first opened, it was amazing. I used to come here twice a week because both the food and service were excellent. However, over time, the quality has continued to decline. This location is honestly not on the same level as Haidilao in Toronto. i visited about six months ago, and I already felt the service was quite poor. Because of that experience, I didn’t come back for half a year. Last week, I decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, the service was still disappointing, the food was average, and the prices had become even more expensive. No more benefits for silver membership, no more box tissue, you need to pour water for yourself…total different service than before! If your restaurant’s reputation is built around exceptional service, then staff training should be taken more seriously. Sadly, after giving it multiple chances, I won’t be coming back.

Molly and Jason were incredible. Molly went above and beyond with serving us, and she even gave us some goodies for the road that were super cute. They were both extremely accommodating and helpful! For that, we had a great experience at Haidilao, and would definitely come again.

We recently tried a hot pot place and overall it was a good experience. The service was friendly and attentive, and we really appreciated how nicely the meat was sliced thin, fresh, and easy to cook. While we enjoyed trying something different, hot pot just wasn’t really our thing personally. Still, we can see why people love it, and the quality and service definitely made the visit enjoyable.

We had a great experince here, the buffet option was economical and had many items to choose from. The service provided by attendant Steven was excellent, he was pretty extremely nice and helpful when needed.

I booked a table two days before my birthday and specifically asked for birthday decorations and a little celebration. The restaurant confirmed they would arrange it. But when I arrived on the day, there was no decoration at all. Later, as it got busier, I ordered noodles and ended up waiting almost 20 minutes. I also had to ask before someone finally came to sing the birthday song. When I asked for someone to take photos, they rushed through a few quick shots and left. And the promised small gifts? Never received. Overall, a very underwhelming experience compared to what Haidilao is known for. Hope they improve their follow-through on special requests.

We came as a family of 4 with a 6-year-old child, and our experience at Haidilao Hot Pot was absolutely amazing. The service and atmosphere were incredible from start to finish. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made us feel comfortable right away, especially with a young child. The noodle dance was such a fun and memorable moment for our family, and the variety of flavors and sauces made the whole dining experience unique and exciting. The combination of great food, entertainment, and warm customer service creates a truly special family and gastronomic experience. Highly recommended for families, friends, or anyone wanting to discover hot pot in Montréal!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Oliver was an extremely attentive, kind server who really elevated the experience. I am vegan and gluten free and he fully guided me through the ordering process. I appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to answer my questions. The service was above and beyond. Went on a busy Sunday night for AYCE and had an amazing time. Steven gave the best service we’ve ever had at this Haidilao location by far out of the many times we’ve been since their opening and even ended our night with a free hot pot broth gift. Thank you for the amazing service Steven!!
