My boyfriend and I walked in at around 6 pm and were told there was no reservation until 8:30 pm. We loved the vibe in here so much that we went back to our hotel and came back at 8:30. And I am SO glad we did. Our bartender, Gemma (I hope I am spelling her name right) was incredible and accommodated my wants for an espresso martini by grabbing one from the downstairs bar. She explained all the dishes we were interested in, and answered any and all questions we had. We got into great conversations about her family, Quebec, and her recommendations. Truly such a great experience not only with the food but with the atmosphere and the personnel working there. A must visit for Montreal! I will be thinking about this dinner for a while. Was the perfect birthday weekend starter!!!

Everything was incredible. Like someone else said; young staff just hustlin’ and making exceptional food. Got the marinated/pickled veg, duck, potato salad, and fried chicken. Everything was 5-stars delicious and felt like Michelin-starred food at much more reasonable prices. Great wine list. The basement bar is awesome. Everything about this place was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved having dinner at Fleurs et Cadeaux. The waiter's choice tasting menu is worth it! The service was exceptional and they were very accommodating of allergies. The albacore tataki, nanban chicken, and the duck are a must-have. (I usually dislike duck, but this one was cooked to perfection and so tender.) 100% would recommend to anyone who likes sushi.

We had an incredible dining experience at Fleurs et Cadeaux. Our server was amazing, she went through all of the menu items with us and helped us determine quantities to order. We sat at the bar where we could watch the chef prepare grilled dishes like the duck we had which we would highly recommend. It’s a cute and cozy spot with a fun menu and great service. Would go back in a heartbeat.

A hidden gem. Fantastic food and friendly staff who really know the menu. There’s also a very cool underground section tucked away at the back. Don’t let the exterior put you off, this place is well worth a visit.

As someone who has traveled and lived in Japan extensively, this was one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. It has its unique takes and isn’t 100% traditional, but I think it’s clear that whoever came up with this menu has studied the source material, because it was respectful to Japanese food while also being original. I came because I saw footage of the smoked duck, and it was, as I expected, amazing. But the level of deliciousness of everything else truly caught me off guard. The scallops were a mind blowing starter, with such a buttery but not overwhelming sauce. The tataki was amazing and had the best wasabi sauce ever. We considered getting something other than the potato salad as that’s a pretty staple menu item in Japanese restaurants, but boy was I glad we got it. It uses potato chunks instead of having the salad pre-mashed, and the flavors and textures in the sauce were top notch!! The mazemen was also incredibly delicious but we were already so full at that point! Don’t regret getting it though. The drinks were wonderful as well, but the staff were astounding!! Attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable - I think I can honestly say I had a perfect dining experience here. Can’t recommend it enough!

The food is good, but the portions are way too small and too expensive. The service is slow and disorganized. We ordered 5 plates and we left even hungrier than when we came in because of how long it took and how little the portions are. The bill was 160$ for two (no alcohol). Even if the food was good, I cannot recommend this place because of how disappointed I left.
