I was at Five Guys today (Tuesday March 24 around 12h30) with my three friends and we had a really rude and honestly sexist encounter with one of the workers. He was a guy wearing jeans and a black top. He looked like the chef d’équipe. At first, I went in with two of my friends and we sat down while waiting for our other friend to arrive. We had taken out our lunches and we were going to decide what to order once she got there. The worker came up to us and didn’t even say hi, he just rudely asked if we were going to buy something. We told him we were waiting for our friend. He said “We’re not a cafeteria here” and walked away. We noticed other tables with men from our school eating their own lunches but he didn’t say anything to them. A few minutes later, he came back, cut me off and told us we had to leave, repeating “We’re not a cafeteria.” We felt really disrespected and left. His behavior made us feel judged and like we were treated differently because we were girls. I understand that if you don’t order you can’t stay, the problem is the way he spoke to us and that he didn’t treat other male customers the same way.

I should have read the reviews for the fries before ordering. They were completely overcooked, hard, dry and over salted. We are used to going at the other one in Dix30 which doesn’t seem to have this problem. Hamburgers were good.

Frozen cheese between the patties and bad customer service when you ask them to fix it. Go to a different location.

I've been to a few Five Guys now, this one is great. The staff super friendly and fully bilingual. Food good. Service quick and efficient. The floor manager was constantly timing how fast meals were prepared. He was everywhere at once, encouraging his team. Very involved and it showed. Good job team!

And in for a quick bite during a break, was in my work uniform public transit . One of the cooks, young Middle East guy yells at me we’re on strike. Very unprofessional and not welcoming. I come in to have a meal and enjoy my break. Do not feel like going back there.

Good burgers!!! The poutine was super big and the self serve 🥜 on the counter to help us wait was nice! Cool place 👍🏻
