It's Sunday afternoon, if u misses out on early weekend. This place is crazy !
What guests say about Figata
Figata has a very high average rating and is often described as a great discovery in Montreal, especially for its pasta, appetizers, and desserts, with generous portions and good value for money. The service is most often described as warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy, lively, and ideal for a night out with friends or a partner. A few reviews do mention occasionally slow or uneven service, a somewhat tight space, and some dishes that were saltier or less successful. For a friendly Italian evening, it seems worth the visit, but reservations and waiting may be expected.

Welcome to the area ☺️could you please lower the music and manage your crowds. We want you to prospere but the bass is quite heavy and people from residential areas needs some rest also, during the day and night. Thank you 🙏
Great Italian American restaurant with a good selection of Negronis. I had doubts because of the hype, but everything exceeded my expactations. Food was really good, the star for us, the Octopus with the beans. Pasta are classics and you can't go wrong. Tiramisu was a perfect way to end a dinner with an espresso. They also have a little Figata coffee shop so coffee is great. Our server Pasha was perfect and everything was handled with a cool & relaxing feel until the end, exactly what you want for an night out. Go there early if you have kids and later of you want a supper club vibe.
Amazing food, incredible service from Pasha, he’s the best in the game! Absolute must try.
What makes Figata stand out is their portions, in my opinion. Everything is tasty but in a world of absurd restaurant prices, they keep it authentic and within reason. Auguri!
I chose Figata to celebrate a special occasion after seeing all the hype on social media, but unfortunately, it was not the right choice. The restaurant felt overhyped from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was nothing special, and the overall experience did not match what is shown online. I do want to mention that our waitress was doing her best, but the service was extremely slow, and the food arrived very late. As for the food, it was honestly not worth the hype at all. It was not delicious, and nothing felt special. The appetizers were very ordinary, the pasta was just okay, and overall, nothing justified the price. Overall, Figata is not worth the hype or the cost, especially for a special occasion. It was Tuesday and not even a weekend.
Everything was spectacular, dessert was a miss
A warm, nonna-inspired Italian dining experience in St-Henri defined by comfort, restraint, and familiarity, supported by a cozy ambience and a thoughtfully curated oldies soundtrack that enhanced atmosphere without overwhelming conversation. Culinarily, the grilled octopus (polpo) stood out as a clear highlight—well-executed with confident texture control and balanced seasoning, reflecting strong kitchen technique and precision. The pasta alla zozzona was indulgent and satisfying in concept, though slightly oversalted, which at moments overshadowed its richness. The beef carpaccio similarly leaned salt-forward, with seasoning exceeding the delicacy of the raw beef. This was also noted in the focaccia which was our attempt to absorb the saltiness of the beef. The St-Germain spritz provided a light, aromatic counterpoint, while the tiramisu delivered a classic, well-structured finish with appropriate balance of cocoa, cream, and coffee bitterness. Overall, the experience remained cohesive and inviting—anchored by standout execution in select dishes, softened by a warm atmosphere, with minor seasoning inconsistencies preventing full refinement but not diminishing the restaurant’s return appeal.
Amazing experience! We spent our anniversary there and the staff was super attentive to make sure we had a good night. I’m 7 months pregnant, and they were so helpful guiding me through the menu to make sure I get nothing too risky for me & baby 💛💛💛 The pasta is absolutely devine! They do not hold back on the parmesan as well
Such a great evening with you guys at Figata! Great recommendations, fun cocktails and so beautifully decorated, with the best staff vibes. Can’t wait to be back for that Zozzona pasta!!
The resto is good, ambience, staff all 5 stars. The place is really beautiful. Except for the price: $24 for a simple spaghetti al sugo dish and the portion was way too small, would have been ok if it was a large portion.
My first impression walking in the restaurant itself was cozy, perfect for a night out. Warmly greeted by staff and owners who even when it was busy checked on us regularly and were very kind. The drinks and food were prepared with such care and the attention to detail was amazing our minds were blown! To the Figata fam, Thank you for making it such a memorable night. 💖
This restaurant is fun! The food is very good, the service was excellent, and the noise level decent. The pasta dishes served as mains are a generous size — the Italian-American influence some have commented on. We loved the orecchiette with a mushroom/truffle sauce. All the wines are privately imported. The bottle of pecorino (from Abruzzo) we had was first rate.
This place is special!! A true gem. Hit all the marks. Great vibe. Incredible attention to detail. The food was outstanding. We order 2 pastas (Funghi E Tartufo and Zozzona - both photos here), as well as Spaghetti Fries, and Caesar Salad). First time, and not last. Very friendly owner and staff. Keep it up!!!
You should check this place out, ASAP. The dining experience I had there tonight was the best I can remember in a very long time. Mind you, I went solo. It was a lovely, extremely busy evening in St-Henri. I was curious about Figata, but pessimistic about getting in. The welcomer at the door told me it would be tight, but she would see what she could do. She spoke to the maitre'd and the kitchen, and after much discussion, I was given the option of a solo spot, but I had to be out in 50 minutes, to acommodate an existing reservation. I accepted the offer. And I'm so glad I did. I was seated at the bar. I was served quickly. I ordered a Moretti, and the fish crudo of the day, tuna carpaccio. I asked the bartender to choose a wine to pair with the tuna. Just before the food arrived, I was offered a sample of a white wine from Sicily. The barkeep explained that it would be somewhat bold, but not to overpower the fish. Wine pairing 101. Easy to say, but not to do. It was great. A perfect pairing. The wine had a significant, but subtle body, on-target acidity, and a hint of Riesling-style minerality. I asked the bartender what the varietal was. She wasn't sure, then proceeded to consult with no less than four of her very busy colleagues before returning with the answer that it was an Inzolia, also known as Ansonica. You should try some. The fish was amazing. Fresh, with a sweet sauce and some small hot peppers and capers. It was a refreshing protein dish, hence the crisp white wine being a perfect match. I would bet that everything on their menu is of similar high quality. But what stood out for me the most was the customer service. Making a serious effort, without hesitation, to find an improbable spot, and to answer my question about the wine made me feel the best looked after. And isn't that the whole point of going to a restaurant?
looooveee this place!!!!
We absolutely loved it! The food was fresh, everything was delicious, and Pacha really went out of his way for us. Honestly, this is one of the best and most authentic Italian restaurants I’ve been to in Montreal. The ambiance was great and the decor was beautiful too. Thank you so much for the amazing service — we’ll definitely be back 😊
Had a great experience at Figata! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the overall service was excellent. Viral, one of the co-owners, was especially attentive to all of our questions and made sure our table was well taken care of throughout the evening. You can really tell they care about their customers’ experience. Definitely recommend!
We had an amazing time at Figata! Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was prompt, warm, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. The atmosphere was hard to beat - the perfect mix of beautiful décor, dim lighting, and an incredible playlist made it exactly the vibe we were hoping for for our girls’ night birthday celebration. A special shoutout to Vilar, who truly made our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Such a vibe. Love this neighborhood spot. Great staff, awesome decor and even better food! The truffle mushroom pasta and polpettes are def a must!
It’s super cute and cozy inside, the decoration is super nice and the FOOD was so good. The polpette was delicious and the foccaccia too yum with the vodka pasta 🤌🏼🤌🏼 Service was amazing, great place to go to - will definitely come back!
This is what hospitality means it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. A pleasure, and we will definitely be back. Gracias Miguel ✨
The service was good and overall everything was fine, but I don’t think it was the kind of place that would go viral. The complimentary bread was cold and a bit dry, and overall the food was too salty
A restaurant that actually deserves the hype. We went to Figata for dinner as a group of six two nights ago, and overall it was a great experience. They sat us at a round table in the middle of the restaurant. At first, we thought it might be too small for six people, but it actually created a really nice atmosphere and made it easy for everyone to talk together. The vibe of the restaurant felt warm, friendly, and home-y. Now for the food: my friend and I split the meatballs, the curly fries with the sauces on the side, and the mushroom pasta. Meatballs: 10/10 Curly Fries: 9/10 Mushroom Pasta: 9/10 Overall, the food was delicious. I heavily recommend the meatballs especially. The curly fries and pasta were also great. I do feel like the pasta was missing a little something flavorwise, but it was still really good overall. We also got dessert, the tiramisu: 7/10. It was good, but there was slightly too much cocoa powder, which overpowered the cream a bit and threw off the balance of the dessert. Overall, definitely a spot worth trying if you’re looking for a cozy dinner with friends and good comfort food.
It was a great experience
