Had a great experience at Restaurant Figata. Fun vibe, friendly service, and a really solid menu. We shared a bunch of appetizers including the charcuterie board, focaccia, meatballs, Caesar salad, and burrata all delicious and perfect for the table. The pastas were just as good, and we finished with ice cream and tiramisu which hit the spot 🍝🍨 Newly opened and already feels like they’re doing things right. The place was full and the energy showed it. Definitely worth a visit 👍

Amazing food with some unique Italian cuisine not found elsewhere. Lot's of different Negroni choices, highly recommended.
Amazing food and service!
If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would! Best cooked pasta I’ve had since being in Rome. Everything was delicious. Service , perfect and what a great vibrant yet low key atmosphere. A great evening overall. This place is going to be a big hit , get there before it gets even harder to get in!
Charcuterie board was good, could have used a less basic cheese though. The artichokes were a pleasantly unique touch but not sure why they were piled on the sun-dried tomatoes. The sun-dried tomatoes were delicious. The cured meat was nice. Olives were good quality. Maybe serve it on a board? The focaccia wasn't really like any other focaccia I get at other places. It's passable with the above platter but otherwise I wouldn't get it. The Zozzona was disappointing, you couldn't taste and barely could see the sausage. There was nothing to balance out the strong cheeses. I enjoyed the funghi e tartufo, very solid mushroom pasta dish. Tiramisu wasn't cut properly and was mostly mascarpone. Didn't really have enough flavour to it. Overall I think more effort could be put into presentation. My Negroni Terra was good, very similar to a typical Negroni. Cute decor. Nice 80s music. Excellent service. Was very helpful with the wine. Called me when my friend forgot her bag, which was very appreciated.
Our experience was not what we expected. To begin with, I'm not a fan of how close the tables are to each other (see picture). We could hear the other couple's conversation, and of course they could hear ours, and the music didn't help. Terrible place for a date! Then there's the food, which didn't feel like it had any quality or special ingredients. We ordered two appetizers: Fritto Misto $26: a large plate of calamari, octopus, and shrimp. The plate is so large that the food at the bottom is full of oil, rubbery, and mushy. Not pleasant at all. Charcuterie plate $14: the cheese and charcuterie resemble what you would find at the supermarket. Terrible quality. Main courses: The Zozzona $28: the pasta didn't feel fresh and homemade, it was more like something bought at the supermarket, and the sauce was quite heavy and salty. It made my stomach hurt. Funghi and Tartufo $26: stale, bland pasta with mushrooms and truffles, cream, and butter. Nothing special. We ordered dessert since we were celebrating a birthday, we ordered the dessert of the day for $14, which ended up being a lemon tart that didn't feel like it had been made recently, with cream cheese and a little lemon. We had two cocktails that were okay, but in the end they felt watered down. In summary, the bill came to $185, for an unpleasant, expensive experience with mediocre food, therefore, I would not recommend the restaurant and would not return. In my opinion, there are better Italian restaurants in Montreal.
Well received at figata. Their pastas are out of this world. Incredible service by Victoria. Will be going back for sure!!! 🙏🔥
Simply the best Italian Restaurant! You really can't go wrong here! Staff is great and the Food is TOP NOTCH!
Overhyped, my mushroom pasta had no taste, the lamb skewers are like the ones you get at maxi frozen, the shrimp and calamari were horrible all the coating was falling off and soggy. The fries on the other hand are very good. Another problem was sitting right next to another couple we couldn't even talk without being heard or feeling comfortable. Not sure if ill be back.
Definitely did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service by Elliot was great and the ambience was awesome. We had the meatballs, the cesare salad and the zazzone pasta . Can’t wait to go back ❤️❤️❤️

Good service 👍👍👍
From the moment we walked in, the vibes were absolutely on point. The entire staff is incredible, but a special shout-out to the hostess, her energy was amazing and really set the tone for the whole night! We shared several dishes, and here is the breakdown: - The Focaccia: A total must-order. It is incredibly light, airy, and the perfect starter. - Spaghetti Fries: We debated these, but they turned out to be fun and delicious! Tip: Take the sauces on the side it keeps the texture perfect. - Caesar Salad: Fresh and tasty, though it was perhaps missing a little je ne sais quoi to make it stand out as much as the rest of the meal. - The Pastas (1000/10): This is where Figata truly shines. We had the Lumache Vodka and the Funghi e Tartufo. Both were absolutely fantastic rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. - Dolci Tiramisu: We finished with a slice and it was the perfect end to the night. It tasted completely homemade and incredibly fresh. Overall, a stellar experience. Great food and amazing staff. It was worth the visit!
Amazing food !!
definitely worth the hype, we were more than satisfied with the zozonna pasta and the polpettes which were so savory! we felt the service was a bit pushy, they clean up your tables & come over very often. but i definitely recommend for date night! 💌
Great time at Figata — I loved the vibe. The service was good and the atmosphere was really nice. My two comments: First, $19 for a drink is a bit excessive. I was actually the only one at the table who ordered one because everyone else found the price too high. I’m totally fine paying $14–15 for a cocktail, but when my drink is almost the same price as my main meal… I’m good, thanks. Second, portion sizes were solid for my friends (risotto, mushroom pasta, and vodka pasta all looked great). My pasta vongole was delicious, and there was a generous amount of clams and sauce, but the actual pasta portion felt a bit light. It just needed a little more to balance the dish. The calamari and shrimp were really good. The burrata was good as well. The focaccia, though, felt more like sliced bread than house-made focaccia. Overall, I’d go back — I’d just rethink what I order next time… and probably stick to water.
Delicious italian food in a nice little cozy restaurant. The spaghetti frite was definitely unique and would make me want to come back for it.
We were seated at the bar, and while I don’t usually love that, there was ample room and it was good bar stools. The bartenders were super friendly and provided excellent service. Now, most importantly, the food somehow lived up to the hype. 10/10 experience
Fries — mid. Felt even under-salted. Crispy; I liked the shape, but the bowl came barely filled because the sauce cups took up so much room. There were a lot of scraps (half curlies, even 1/3rd curlies). -5 Meat sauce — boring, like just simple meat sauce. Béchamel — good, okay sauce felt kind of like a mushroom saice. The concept seems fun, but the flavours felt a little flat. Caesar — good, very anchovy-forward!! -7.7 Perfect amount of parmesan — I liked it. If you don’t like anchovies, you might not enjoy it (there were also some stray anchovies in the bowl). Some pieces were so saucy, I enjoyed that. Lettuce was fresh and good, but no croutons (she said she'd give us non-bacon ones, but we didn’t get them) — still enjoyed it. Definitely an acquired taste. Mushroom — noodle al dente a bit; I liked the noodle shape. It was good. While I love mushrooms, it felt almost like too many. Good, but Amerigo mushroom pasta is even better (though this was the best of the bunch). 7 Tomato — interesting spice. There was something a little weird in the sauce, like an unrecognizable, earthy flavour. I liked the shape, but it was solid average — nothing outstanding, literally just a tomato sauce with cheese. -5 Vodka — disappointing . Spice overpowering; doesn’t taste like vodka sauce at all. Besides spice, it has no flavour whatsoever. Homemade is honestly better. -4 Service — good. They filled our water often. Our waitress was nice. Good romantic ambiance, dark, so if you’re someone who pulls out a flashlight in dark restaurants, beware your flashlight will be out. Cute vibe — it’s Italian, homey( with the tablecloths), but with a more fancy vibe. All in all, everyone I went with, myself included, rated it between 5–6. for the total restaurant experience food wise. It’s a try-once-and-go-back-to-your-comfort-spot kind of place. Definitely overrated, and I wouldn’t go back, just a place you try because everyone is posting on TikTok.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Figata and I’m still thinking about the meal days later. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish. We were served by Vee, who was truly fantastic. Attentive without being overbearing and knowledgeable about the menu. Vee elevated the entire evening with thoughtful recommendations and impeccable service. To start, we had the polpette paired with fresh focaccia bread. You can taste the care and quality in every bite. For the main, the cowboy cut steak with broccolini was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, and beautifully seasoned. Napolitain ice cream for dessert was a great way to tie it all up. Huge compliments to the chef for creating such a delicious and well-executed menu. Figata is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine with top-tier service, this is the place. Highly recommend!
I truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was delightful, and the staff members were exceptionally friendly. Every item we ordered was delicious, and the service was impeccable.
Another excellent restaurant in St-Henri 👌🏼 Highly recommend! Expecially the crudo and the mushroom orecchiette.
Exceptional food and service, the lumache vodka and polpette...sooo good! Naira was an absolute gem 💎
The vibe is very nice in there Prices reasonable And the staff are really superb Cocktails great too and honestly a great no-fuss spot for a date or a night with friends. Overall though, I think the flavour profiles are quite muted and well suited to an audience with a delicate and neutral palate. Nothing is offensive or bad (not even close) but nothing is special either. The dishes feel really home-cooked and made with love but I think they could do with a little more courage, salt and heat.
Long story short, the same is legit, the place was great and I would go back. Its not cheap but it was definitely worth it. Okay so full disclosure Italian is my least favorite type of restaurant to eat out at, not cause of the taste but I just feel like I can kindof make this at home vs like indian, thai, etc. That said this place and experience was worthwhile. Recently opened and reservations were hard to come by but eventually got a table for two on a Wednesday night that ended up being packed as well. The place isnt huge but its welcoming, perfectly lit, music at the right level and warm. Servers were very friendly but it did take a while, that said it was busy so not the end of the world. Menus are nice and simple started with couple of drinks, drinks and food are both just 2 sides, something to be said for simplicity. We ordered a couple of cocktails, two appetizers and two mains which was ambitious and overkill. We had the meatballs and the veggies apps, and for the mains the Zozzona and the mushroom pasta (Funghi E Tartupo). The Funghi was the standout for both of us but everything tasted fresh, simple and rich at the same times. Both mains were huge so its great for sharing I would say 2 apps and 1 main is enough to share for 2 ppl, even 1 app and a main but you will probably be taking something home like I did too.
