Wow. Amazing experience. The staff & the food were both PHENOMENAL. I am so impressed by this restaurant. The food was also very reasonably priced. Really good price for amazing quality. I will absolutely be coming back here. LOVE IT

LET ME TELL YOU. This place is worth the hype. My best friend and I got a rez and went in so excited, yet Figata EXCEEDED our expectations. GET THE FRIES & CAESAR SALAD to start, genuinely an 11/10 amazing. The pastas were DELISH, BUT THE TIRAMISU ??! Beyond. A must. But the best part you may ask ??! The service. From the second we walked in there it felt like we were family. SHOUTOUT OUR GIRL NAIRA, the sweetest waitress, she was the best and made our night so perfect!

I don’t usually write a lot of reviews but I felt the need to this time as I feel this place is good but has the potential to be great. My girlfriend and I went to grab a romantic dinner after hearing about this place opening as we are big fans of Bistro Amerigo whose owners are now partners in Figata. Food was delicious and service was good. However, I felt the place had a little of an identity crisis. The tables, table covers and flooring scream cozy, family run restaurant but the music and lights are more going for your usual sexy urban bar. Second of all, we did not appreciate the fact that the moment we finished our desert, the server basically asked us to pay and leave because people were lining up outside for a table. I don’t think I have ever had this happen to me in any bar or restaurant in Montreal and it’s not like we had a “cheap table”. We had 6+ dishes, desert and a bottle of wine and had a $300 tab at the end of the night, so one would expect to not be asked to leave the moment you stop ordering/eating. Otherwise our experience was good and I don’t mind going back to it in a few months.

We tried this recently with a few friends and absolutely loved it. The pastas were crazy good. I also really liked the ceaser salad and the house meatballs! We're definitely coming back here for more.

new in the city, can’t reco it enough. v (the server) was hands down probably the best server i’ve had - great recs, genuine care, really made the experience 100% food was top, atmosphere was very intimate & great, nothing to complain about lots of small details (name on ice), constant service + great italian. wouldn’t be surprised to see figata on a list one day if they keep at it

Just wow… truly one of the best if not the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in Montreal. We waited about 10 minutes in the entrance before getting seated, so I would recommend showing up 10 minutes before your actual reservation time! My friend got a pineapple mocktail, which was extremely delicious and sweet. We got our food within 20 minutes, but unfortunately they had a mix up and instead of bringing out our 3 appetizers our first, we got our main meals, which wasn’t an issue! We had no problem with that. Our pastas were out of this world phenomenal. Truly I think the best vodka pasta I’ve ever had. Less than 10 minutes after receiving our pasta’s, we got our meatballs & Caesar salad. The meatballs were good and very soft, cooked amazingly, but would not get again. The Caesar salad was breathtaking. Could not believe how well they perfected this salad. The calamari then came a whole 20 minutes after our appetizers, but then again the order in which the food came out did not bother us, we know mix-up’s happen, and they are a new restaurant that is extremely busy. Calamari was delicious and also had some shrimp throw in there too! Could not be more happier. We then got a tiramisu to share. It was incredible! Exactly how I like my tiramisu’s, extremely coffee based, not so much sweet chocolate taste. Our waitress was so kind and sweet. She ended up putting the tiramisu on the house because of the mixup! Don’t remember her name, but it said Elliot on the receipt so I hope that was her name because she deserves credit for her amazing service! Every table was taken, but I never felt squished and too close to other tables, which I liked. Also, the portions are amazing for the price you’re paying. Will 1000% come back. Usually I do not like repeating restaurants in Montreal, but wow… this is a no brainer. Raved about it to all my friends and family!

Impeccable food, service and atmosphere. Montreal has many Italian restaurants and lots of them are all hype and no substance. This place is the opposite of that. A must try!

Such a welcoming environment. The service was outstanding, the staff were attentive, genuinely friendly, and extremely helpful with recommendations and any questions we had. They made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. This is definitely a restaurant to add to your list of restaurants to try in Montreal. The food was really good, the portions were huge, and it’s very affordable.

This is Steve's latest masterpiece. The food and vibe were amazing; a great mix of intimacy and fun. As we always see at Amerigo (Steve's original spot on Monkland in NDG) the best feature is the people. Steve and his entire staff make you feel at home and always welcome. Congrats on this amazing addition to the Montreal food scene.

No surprises here - Steve and his team have knocked it out of the park once again in this Saint Henri powerhouse. It might be a recent addition to the neighbourhood, but it runs without a hitch, turning out superbly executed plates and drinks in an atmosphere that pays homage to the historical footprint of the building but elevated it with a beautiful stamp. The bar is the heart of the place, and its angled shape gives a great vantage point for all the action. The servers, hosts, and bar staff all make you feel at home from the second you walk in to the second you leave. The food is unforgettable; classics done with all the respect and finesse they deserve. I had the Caesar salad, which features whole fresh romaine, generous parmigiano reggiano, and respects the anchovies. Then the fritto misto - calamari and shrimp crisped to perfection. Orecchiette with mushrooms and truffles, similar to the gnocchi served at Amerigo, were just decadent and earthy, perfect on a snowy winter night. Solid straight through. I cannot wait to return.

The food was delicious, but what really stood out was our server, Naira. She was warm, patient, and deeply welcoming. There was something so comforting about her presence. She made the experience feel personal and special, and truly elevated our first visit to Figata. She’s an absolute asset to the restaurant.
