Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. I have been going on and off for 20 years, but I think it might be my last time. Music is too loud by the pools and in the restaurant. I don't understand how one is supposed to relax in a spa with music blasting; I was not able to rest at all this time, and that defeats the purpose of a spa..

Very nice long hotel. The rooms were pretty clean, plus the resort is dog friendly, allowing you to bring your dog. The pool was clean for a big place like this, many small hot pools. The location was very nice except for the fact that it was located near a boulevard. The service was not the best

Amazing week at Estrimont!!Staff were very welcoming and kind! Enjoyed all the facilities available, especially the thermal spa. The staff at Estrimont made our dog feel very welcome! Nice to see a hotel that is so accommodating to pets!!

Food, service, live music, friendly staff, all made our stay a pleasant one. Rooms are nice as well. Dog friendly place is appreciated. Breakfast is pricey but has a lot of variety. There needs to be better management of smokers and vapers. Fitness room needs a major make-over as the equipment is outdated and damaged. Lots of space in the pool area to lounge. 4/5

This was our second time visiting Estrimont but the first in the summer. We like to travel with our dog and this place is pet-friendly on steriods. First off, the location is great since it's so close to Magog. When we checked in they gave our dog a bandana and a cute toy. The rooms here are very spacious and have their own living room and fireplace, as well as a balcony. Now the biggest thing for us is how pet-friendly this place is. You can literally bring your dog everywhere except for the restaurant. With that being said, they are allowed in the lounge, where you can also order off the same menu as the restaurant so you can truly bring your dog everywhere here. Both Saturday and Sunday we used the tennis courts, which had some wear on them, but it was still a nice way to start the day and they are right in front of the off-leash dog area, so we just brought our pup and left him in there as we played tennis. The Saturday day was spent at the pool and there are a bunch of dog beds with canopies, so my dog was living his best life. Other amenities we loved were the Nespresso machines in the room, as well as the fact that the TVs have streaming services (not all hotels have this, so it's always a plus when they do). If you like to travel with your dog then I highly recommend staying here. Incredible resort in the Townships!

EDIT: lowered to one star after a terrible experience at their restaurant too!!! I had booked the Sunday brunch buffet for my partner and I as a surprise to them. When we were sat down, the waitress told us out loud the price per person- I approached her and told her she should have not as it was a surprise gift. Honest mistake. During the experience, the waitress didn’t show up even once to serve us water, tea, or coffee. This was a 100% self serve experience without any service to even ask if all was going well. When I paid, in front of my partner, I didn’t leave a tip because there was no service to tip. The waitress once more embarrassed me in front of my partner by lecturing me about why I should leave a tip because the government taxes them and if I wouldn’t they would make a loss on my expense blah blah. I caved into leaving a 15% tip, for which I tapped with my card. I left for the restrooms before driving out and as I walked out, the waitress followed me to tell me that the tip hadn’t gone through the machine and once more the same lecture on why I’m penalizing her by not leaving a tip. I told her that it’s up to Estrimont to give her a living wage and not for me to make up for her salary, especially since she provided NO service other than stating the price out loud!! This place is an embarrassing joke. Never again. L One of the most mediocre and overpriced massages of my life. I booked a hot stone massage due to sore muscles and it consisted literally of warm stones just placed and then glided down my body once they were lukewarm with no pressure. I asked the masseuse if she could apply more pressure as I had sore muscles I wanted to relieve and she said no as the stone massage was “just that”. All of this for 238$ for a 50 minute massage!!

Room was very nice. Dogs are welcome everywhere which is wonderful. A real pet friendly hotel. Personel was very nice. A great experience and the Tomahawk restaurant was delicious! Loved it

We've had many great experiences at other resorts with our pooch, but this place is #1, the very best we've ever experienced ❤️ The staff is just amazing, the installation s are very well kept and the Tomahawk grill is excellent.

My wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. Liked our room. Spacious comfortable clean. As for the restaurant a little disappointed. Service was Ok. Our meals nothing to write home about. Only that We cooked our meals on a volcanic rock... Pierre de Feu.

The most dog friendly hotel we’ve ever visited! They’re pretty much allowed everywhere except for the dining room itself. We ordered to the room, which was equipped with a nice table and chairs. What we really appreciated was being allowed to bring our dog while we enjoyed the outdoor spa (dogs can’t go in the water). The property is well located and only a couple of minutes drive away from some cafes (if you prefer a cheaper option to their $28 breakfast). The rooms were very spacious and the bed even had a massage option! The shower was magical — rainforest shower head + wall jets. Estrimont was very cozy and our dog felt very comfortable, as did we. We only wish we had stayed longer! Can’t wait to go back in the summer.

Nice hotel, beds were comfortable and linens/pillows were decent. Very nice little spa attached which my family enjoyed. One small irritation which despite me calling and emailing didn't get resolves was that they gave us bath robes and towels for the spa but didn't let us know that the bath robes were $10 each to rent. Would not have rented them (thin and cheap robes) had I known they cost $10 each to rent. Found out about the rental fee when I got my invoice. This is not how hotels should operate. It should be clear what is included and what costs extra. Called and spoke with someone asking for this fee to be reversed as I had never agreed to it and never heard back. Also emailed the hotel and they never called back. This is terrible customer service. Otherwise, fine hotel, decent buffet breakfast.

I am disappointed in this hotel beyond explanation. It's so nasty of them to promote and try to get dog parents in, meanwhile they have customers who are completely against this policy. Let me explain further. We have a miniature dachshund who weighs below 5kg. (just to tell you how small he is) we visited for the first time( and last time!!!) three weeks ago. Upon arrival we signed the waiver which I found super troublesome because they accept dogs but do not tolerate barking... I do get, not accepting loud dogs at night or early morning but they have zero system to check it out. We also have an application on our phone that sends us a msg if our dog barks alot. We left him in the room for 40 min to go to the spa at 5:30 pm and got 10 calls and 3 messages from the hotel in a span of 10 minutes saying that our dog was barking. When I went back to him in the room he was sleeping. So I went to the reception to talk to them and my partner tried to call them to get further details on the complain. Apparently someone maid a complaint but the hotel staff did not even bother to check if this was true or not. They also told us that with the next complain, they will ask to leave the hotel immediately. I just find it to be ridiculous when you spend 300+ a night to be treated this poorly. We spent the entire duration of our stay in the room with our dog being very stressed and anxious and I do not at all recommend this hotel to anyone. ( especially dog parents ) you re better off in AirBnbs which are dog friendly. I would also expect Estrimont to stop promoting and trying to make money out of dog parents. Shame on you and your standards.

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Estrimont. The rooms was clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. Fireplace is a bonus. The breakfast buffet was great - I would highly recommend adding it as an add-on to your stay. They make delicious coffees too. The staff was amazing, everyone seemed happy. The access to to the Nordic baths was awesome, and I can’t say enough of being able to bring our dogs with us, including the baths and lounge. We will 100% be back. Thank you for an phenomenal stay!

I have been here with my husband many times. rooms are nice, clean. fireplace, microwave, little fridge is awesome when you just feel like hanging out and relaxing. Spas are really nice and relaxing. Brunch lots of choices very good. Tomahawk Grill great food. Massage professional and good. When you want to get away and nice place to walk, bring you dog. Relax, having many commodities. Alone are not it's a great place to enjoy!

Overall the place is nice. Lobby is stylish and the pizza at the restaurant was quite good. Outdoor baths, etc were good too. The indoor pool though... Gross. The air was thick with chlorine, which is guess was a good thing considering how cloudy the water was. Why on earth was the water so cloudy??? The room the pool is in was dimly lit and the sides of the pool were slime. Just no excuse for this.

Its one of our tip choices in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a nice bar and restaurant on site with amazing dishes, and the spa that is our main reason to choose here 🥰

This was our 3rd stay at Estrimont and though we enjoyed our experience, we were awoken by multiple staff members talking extremely loud in the corridor in the morning. We have never experienced this before. The following improvements should be made to the rooms: more hooks to hang robes and towels, and the newly installed showers could seriously use some anti-slip mats as the shower floor is very slippery. We were once again pleased with the outdoor spa facilities, but the cold bath proved a bit tricky to access due to icy steps ( yes we know it's winter ) and ice covered handrails. Perhaps the thick coating of ice along the perimeter of the cold water basin could be brought down to a more reasonable height as it made getting into the tub itself a bit difficult. Otherwise we enjoyed it. To end my review, staff at the front desk were cheerful and polite, as well as the young lady who served our meal in the restaurant. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Unfortunately didn't get room that we expected and paid for ... No kitchen (just a converted front door open closet to accomodate microwave, coffee machine and toaster oven which left nowhere to hang coats!). Beautiful hotel with very nice saunas and Nordic baths (although the yurt was out of heat for a whole afternoon -- despite informing the front desk early on). During our stay, we found some staff very nice while others could have been more helpful and friendlier (in each area reception, restaurant and cleaning staff). The room was not very clean (dust bunnies, dirty dishes in drawer -- was told that service only included changing towels, strengthening bed and adding coffee pods). Spa area was very professional and great service. This hotel is a draw for dog lovers but I don't think that they should be allowed at the Nordic baths area where many patrons walk barefeet. Price for stay was reasonable and the restaurant food was excellent.

Absolutely loved this place. Location was great, rooms were modern and clean. Loved the fireplace in the room with the view of the mountain. Spa was nice as well as the restaurant where the staff warm and friendly. Special shoutout to the receptionist ladies who were so welcoming, will be back soon!!!

We did not stay in the hotel . This is a review for the spa services which were totally falling apart and dirty and also not really hot. The breakfast buffet is great and totally worth it. The indoor pool was nice and great hours just need a huge revamp. Staff is friendly.
