Several dishes were ordered to share among our group as recommended by our server. All dishes were delicious 😋 The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the different dishes.

Great service Restaurant was cold (in temperature) We had the sharing menu and everything was delicious except taco contents were too deep fried. But everything else was amazing.

Just left Escondite first time getting a takeout order starving with starving gf waiting at home… I have to say — the moment I walked in, amazing staff, clean, inviting, family friendly, and positive energy. However, * SOPHIA * completely set the bar a notch higher making this an outstanding experience. (I’m still hungry btw) She greeted me with genuine care, compassion, was extremely professional, and knew the entire menu inside-out (she even suggested the perfect pairings and explained every detail with authenticity). She represented Escondite as a brand so beautifully that I actually felt compelled to leave this review before I get on the road. Trusted her with my choices lol. People like Sophia (are rare lately) the example of hope and kindness above everything else. 5-star reviews before you eat; I’m sure are rare too. She’s not just good at her job — she’s the kind of hostess every restaurant owner wishes they had on their team. Management, if you’re reading this: do whatever it takes to keep her happy and valued. (I’d say bonus) but value is more appropriate ✅ Thank you :)

Amazing tacos and very friendly service by Anna the bartender as well as the waitstaff Olivia and Sophia. Tried the camarones and Mr. Mole Tacos recommended by Anna the first time I visited, which were both equally great. Definitely recommend and on my list to visit again when in the area!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Everything was amazing.The El General Chapo and the tacos al pastor… HOLY GUACAMOLE 🤩🤤 next-level flavor. Fresh, bold, and perfectly done. One of those places you keep thinking about after you leave. 100% coming back.

The food is great and the atmosphere is nice. I thought the music was a bit loud, and there were a lot of us in the restaurant, so we had to talk very loudly, but that's just my personal preference. The service, unfortunately, was very disappointing. Our food came out pretty slowly. It took quite a while to get our drinks (after the first course), and the waitresses got our orders mixed up. I'm not sure if it was just a bad night, but... Hopefully they'll improve their service next time.

Food was mediocre, service was terrible. Took 20 minutes for the server to take down our order and took half an hour to receive our food. Cocktails are overpriced for what it is, more than half my glass was just ice. Will never be going here again.

The food was wonderful but the service was so bad it was almost impossible to enjoy it. The server forgot about our table completely multiple times as well as forgetting multiple items we ordered. She brought us incorrect items and acted annoyed when we asked for what we ordered. We had to keep flagging her down so we could order our drinks, food, etc, etc. We were told we had a limit of 2 hours at our table. That was no problem, but it took almost 45 minutes just to get our drinks (two bottled beers). The table next to us arrived 15 minutes after us and got their drinks and food before us. The whole meal went this way. The manager was in the back of the restaurant the entire time, despite his servers clearly needing help. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the servers were not prepared/well trained at all. We were stressed the entire time because of the time limit and the fact that everything took forever. It felt more like I was at work, instead of having a relaxed night out. Even though the food was good, we won't be returning. Eating out is expensive and not worth it when the server ignores you or acts like you are putting them out by being there.

The fantastic team at Escondite DDO always take such great care of us. We enjoyed a savory meal with delightful flavors!!! We spent a lot because we drank shots (6x), Beers (7x) , Skinny & Spicy Margaritas (2x) as well!! Sam really cares about all clients and we have NEVER, EVER been disappointed after 20 + times eating there! The photos are old, we go often and I had taken these in 2020!!! LOVE IT!!! 💘 😻

Juan was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcomed with his warm and attentive approach. Beautiful interior, excellent margaritas (aperol marg was particularly fantastic), and the food was so fresh, high quality, and delicious. Relaxed service but everyone was nice and helpful. Highly recommend the steak tacos!!

Last night i was extremely disappointed with my order. I ordered nachos and it was served with no tortilla chips but 5 dumplings with Mexican toppings. When i asked the waitress what was the reasoning for this she advised this restaurant is Asian fusion with Mexican. No where on the menu did it mention this or anywhere in the restaurant. Husband ordered 3 dips then when they were delivered to the table was advised if you want tortilla chips to go with the dip this will also cost extra. Not impressed and will needless to say will not be visiting this restaurant again. Last note we had a 6 pm reservation and i called ahead to say we were running late at 5.30pm and if i could change our reservation to 6.15pm. Was advised sorry we only take reservations for every half hour therefore we could only have 6.30pm. No problem however when we arrived there were only 2 tables occupied, restaurant nearly empty. Again not impressed with the customer service. This was unnecessary. Totally understand if they were busy however no I know why the restaurant had barely any customers inside.

Good meal with my two young kids. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Many different flavours and textures, which I love. This includes some creative interpretation of nachos and tacos which made it fun. Adult portions are on the smaller side, so if you’re hungry, probably order two sets of two tacos (you can’t mix and match). My only (very minor) complaint is that the dishes came very quickly, before we could even put a dent in the appetizers. Probably worth asking them to hold the mains until you’re done if that’s how you like to eat. Definitely recommend!
