Service was horrible, took over an hour to get appetizers then longer for the sushi. The sushi was just ok. Beautiful interior and kind staff.

If you’re in the Tremblant area and crave sushi, make sure you make a reservation cause this is the spot to go atmosphere is amazing. Service is great. Food is superb. Make sure you take the time to enjoy your food and your company.
I came for my birthday and it was an amazing experience!
Chef Merts was beyond excellent thank you. Wow!
Amazing, highly reccomend!!
Ekki is amazing! Been to Mont-Tremblant from NYC four times now, we go back every single time. Ekki would easily compete with some of NYC’s best sushi restaurants. Fish is amazingly fresh! Toro carpaccio and tuna tataki are amazing, A5 wagyu sushi was delicious. Great presentation.
Walked in waited 12 minutes to be seated with no acknowledgment. Then approached by a waitress who was rude. Left the restaurant.
This was our 4th time visiting Ekki Sushi and we were fortunate to sit at Chef Merts’ bar table and watch him work his magic. We had the chef’s choice deluxe platter for 2 which was beautifully presented and spectacular tasting. Chef Merts was engaging us throughout our meal which we appreciated. Some of the best sushi and sashimi we’ve ever tasted. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks Chefs Merts and Jian.
If I could give zero stars, I would. 1. The food was pretty basic Japanese food, nothing out of the ordinary. The portions were ridiculously small, way too pricey. For example: Wagu beef on a stick, consisted of 3 child thumb sized beef pieces on a skewer and costed 28$ CAD. To be honest, if you want to feel full, you need to order at least 6 items of the menu. 2. Service was terrible. Sparkling/tap water is usually free, waitress did not tell us that sparkling water was 12$ a bottle. It took almost 2 hours to get 12 avocado rolls... On top of the long waiting time, she forgot to bring a second bottle of water, our dessert items and even the bill after we requested it (took 3 attemps to get her attention and she still forgot to bring it to us... After a while, she came back to our table and asked us if we wanted to order more food...we requested the bill 20 mins ago.) 3. The music is one musical note playing over and over again, zero effort at all into the ambiance/environment. 4. As guests at the bel air chalets, you would expect a better service and experience for the on site restaurant, as well as some form of discount. Do not recommend this place unless you like to throw money away. 2 hours later and 250$ lighter, we left the restaurant unsatisfied, annoyed and still hungry. Edit: Almost 2 years later, we are still waiting on the promised discount coupon they were supposed to send through the mail after calling us to apologize for being such poor hosts. After reading multiple reviews here, i noticed that all the ones having a terrible experience were seating at the chef’s table like us. As if the staff deemed us less worthy/profitable than large groups at the tables, which is thruthfully disgusting. Thats a dumb logic as well, considering that small groups can do just as much damage to your reputation by reviewing you poorly for the service they received. Again, aweful management and service.
The most elegant and beautiful atmosphere. Ideal for a date night. But very family friendly as well. The sushi was FANTASTIC - fresh and delicious. The extra mile they go on presentation, even just for a couple of rolls, creates a unique and differentiated experience.
Chef Merts was the best. Outstanding hospitality and the food was so fresh. Great people and the experience was amazing!
Sushi that will make your eyes water. Max and the chef stayed late to make sure that meal was the most memorable part of our trip. A must eat
Excellent food, presentation and service. Thank you! They accommodated our large group with grace 💜
Awesome experience - parking down below is a good choice. Sushi presentation is amazing presented on large charcuterie boards with amazing flavors offered by the chefs choice platters. Shout out to Chef Jian and Chef Merts
A chef special that was prepared by Chef Merts was spectacular! A wonderful atmosphere enhanced by a truly unique and deliciously curated meal. An amazing experience.
Our food created by Chef Merts and Chef Jian was an absolute piece of art. Flavours were fantastic, and the presentation was beautiful! We ordered the Chefs' choice platter and it did not disappoint. We love bringing friends here as they are always 'wow'ed by the food. Thank you for another fantastic experience! We will be back!!
Chef Jian and chef Merts, fantastic!

It's hard to find better Sushi this side of the country and the place has a great vibe. Definitely one of the best if not the best restaurant in Tremblant, worth the trip out of the village.
The best sushi in Mont-Tremblant, Specifically we could watch how the chef Merty and co chef Jian prepared our food, so wonderful both of them has artistic sense to present the food not just a delicious but also beautiful to look at it.
Incredible, delicious, refined and original Japanese food and sushi.
Best chief Chef Mertz and chief Jian
A great place to eat while in Tremblant. Great vegetarian options.
The steak came out underdone, but was quickly refired. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. A truly unique mountain side Japanese experience.
I really wanted to love Ekki Sushi because the aesthetics are great and our server was wonderful—very attentive and constantly checking in on us. The Tuna Tataki was a high point and the fish quality seemed decent, but unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there. We waited over 1 hour and 20 minutes for our sushi. When it finally arrived, the rice was cold, clumpy, and completely lacked the seasoning of rice vinegar. It was topped with white, popcorn-like speckles (Bubu Arare) that I really wasn't a fan of. The ramen, however, was a complete joke for $30. I’ve had everything from $1 grocery store cup noodles to authentic bowls in Japan, and this was arguably worse. The broth was watery, there was barely any meat, and the noodles were clumped together. I am genuinely curious if this was just a bad night in the kitchen or if the food is simply catered toward a local palate that isn't looking for authenticity. As an Asian person who has eaten in Japan many times, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for quality sushi or ramen.
