Everything was amazing! We ordered Koobideh, Barg, and Kabab Torsh, and all of them were absolutely delicious. The warm fresh bread served at the beginning was also incredible. But more importantly, the hospitality and kindness of the staff truly made our experience special. Azadeh and Patricia were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We were celebrating a birthday, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended!

One of the best Iranian kebab in Montreal. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is modern with nice interior and vibe. The staff are also so nice and welcoming. 10/10 experience, would recommend you to visit this restaurant.

The food was good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. However, the restaurant atmosphere felt very cold and uncomfortable. Both the food got cold quickly, and we felt cold ourselves.

We had Mother’s Day lunch here with the family. The Persian food was incredible. Starting with the Persian flat bread we had the Shiraz salad and the Zeitoon Parvardeh which were both excellent and refreshing. We ordered the Royal platter for the group which consisted of grilled kebabs of chicken and veal as well as bbq chicken wings. This came with 3 heaping bowls of saffron rice. Fantastic! The service was efficient and friendly and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommended this gem if you like Persian food or if you want to try something different.

Amazing experience at Diba Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and you can really tell they care about quality. The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

I recently went to Diba Restaurant and honestly the food was perfect. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation were both excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very kind and attentive. Definitely one of the best Persian dining experiences I’ve had in Montreal. Highly recommended!

We were here for mother’s day. The quality is even better than a year ago. We had few different kebabs and all were well cooked and tender.

Service was perfect, atmosphere was great. Torsh Kebab was so soft and flavorful, one of the best. Barg Kebab was amazingly soft, but lacked a little taste. Koobideh was not ideal.

I had one of the worst dining experiences here. The bread served with my meal had visible mold on it, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they were rude, dismissive, and openly indifferent. They refused to refund my money and acted as if I was making it up. Serving moldy food is bad enough, but the way they handled the situation was even worse. Their behavior was irresponsible, unprofessional, and showed a complete lack of respect for customers. I will definitely not be coming back, and I would strongly caution others before eating here.

Your review is not only false and misleading, but appears to be a deliberate attempt to damage the reputation of a local business after your demand for a full refund was not accepted. We reviewed the security footage in detail, and it clearly shows that the bread was consumed almost entirely during your meal, including being shared at the table. The very small leftover piece was placed on top of your remaining food and taken home with you. Claiming afterward that the bread was “served moldy” makes absolutely no sense considering almost the entire bread was eaten without complaint at the restaurant. Fresh bread does not suddenly develop visible mold overnight after leaving a restaurant unless it has been stored improperly afterward — something entirely outside of our control. What is truly disappointing is that instead of approaching the situation fairly, your first reaction was demanding a full refund. When that was not immediately granted without evidence, you chose to publish an exaggerated public accusation attacking our staff, food safety, and professionalism. From our perspective, this unfortunately looks less like a genuine food safety concern and more like an attempt to obtain free food through pressure and public intimidation. We sincerely hope other businesses are aware of these kinds of situations and refund traps that can unfairly harm small local restaurants. Diba Restaurant follows strict hygiene and food safety procedures every day, and we fully stand behind our staff and the quality of our food. We take real customer concerns seriously, but we will not accept dishonest accusations, manipulation attempts, or defamatory statements used as leverage for compensation. Fortunately, we have surveillance footage and internal records documenting the situation accurately. Facts matter, and in this case, the facts do not support the story presented in this review.

We had Barg and it was uncooked. Traditionally it should be well done or at least they should ask. Disappointed and will never go.

I went there twice! Once by myself and another with my colleagues for our Christmas dinner. And let me tell you how big are the plates!!! We ordered about one plate/2 people, and it was more than enough. Their proportions are generous and very tasty. I highly recommend filet mignon kebab and the lambs. It’s also BYOW (bring your own wine) and it was perfect. The room is well decorated and elegant which makes the atmosphere so nice and happy. The service was impeccable. The staff were always with a big smile and always ready to make the customers happy. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Took the royal platter. Good, generous amount of meat. But I thought WAY too much rice and not enough vegetables. Don't know if it's a cultural tradition but it's just way too much and those on a restricted carbs diet would really appreciate more veggies. The Tiramisu for my friend's birthday was appreciated 👍I'd probably opt more for appetizers only next time as they seem quite interesting - the aubergines was fancy.
