They NEVER disappoint.The food was INCREDIBLE as usual. Service is always great. I usually go there for supper. This was the first time going for brunch and I loved it.

very good brunch menu. a bit surprise cuz it looks more like a bar. tried italian shakshuka and chimichuri. both very tasty. its not cheap but the portion is big. the waitress was very nice and friendly too.

Booked this restaurant over a week in advance,then 24 hours before the reservation a manager named “Sophie” called to say there was a glitch in the system and needed to move my reservation. She was extremely rude and lacks professionalism to say the least. I then spoke to another manager “Ali” who was polite and told me he would “take care of the group and give a round of free drinks” for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, he back tracked on his word because some of the people in the group cancelled because of their system glitch. He also said he was waiving a fee of $25 because we were late! That’s a lie..originally reservations were at 8pm snd they moved it to 9:15. All in all, very disappointing experience and would not return or recommend this restaurant. Customer service ZERO. Server was good though, nothing bad to say.

Hi Fotoula, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I do want to clarify a few points, because some of the facts in your message don’t match what happened on our side. Due to a system glitch that overbooked our 8:00 PM seating, we reached out in advance to request moving the reservation to 9:00 PM; after speaking with you by phone, you confirmed that 8:45 PM would work instead, which is what we adjusted the reservation to. The booking was originally for 7 guests and we held the space accordingly, however we were advised shortly before arrival that the party would be reduced to 3, which meant we lost those seats—yet we still accommodated with pleasure and seated your party immediately at a booth upon arrival. The group then arrived around 9:30 PM, well after the confirmed 8:45 PM time, and we still ensured you were taken care of; as a gesture for the inconvenience, we offered a complimentary round of shots (not comped cocktails). Also, we did not charge any no-show/late-cancellation fee for the guests who did not attend, even though our reservation guidelines and confirmation clearly outline that policy. We’re always happy to own our mistakes—any smart business should, because it’s key to improvement—however in this case, we do feel the situation is being represented differently than the facts we have on record. Our waiter was very knowledgeable friendly and welcoming. We ordered supper and it did not disappoint. Portions were huge and delicious, the desert was fabulous. We were all so full and satisfied thank you for a wonderful evening!

Went for brunch with a few friends and all the dishes we tried were really good. The portions were also very generous which we loved, worth the price. We got the fried chicken with waffle, shakshuka, French toast, and the scrambled egg plate. The scrambled eggs were creamy and potatoes were nicely roasted and seasoned. French toast tasted exactly like it should have. Shakshuka was flavorful. Again creamy. The waffle was well made and the chicken was extremely juicy.

A family brunch on a Saturday in downtown Montreal. Quality of food and service is excellent so you get what you pay for and more! Don’t miss their fries and their baked potato. They have parking for free as well.

The food is great and the service is excellent, on a busy New Year’s Eve we did have to wait an hour extra four our table but we were a large crowd and the manage gave us free shots and a free desert! Burgers and short rib are great choices!

I do think over the years it’s changed but I supposed most of the downtown scene has. I’ve been a few times, experiences vary but I feel comfortable sending people to this location so long as they’re aware of price point. I do think the prices are high for what it is, I’ve received the same feedback from many others. Atmosphere is great on weekends especially. Service is good but I will say was better á couple years back. Food is good. Open to coming back in the future for sure.

Deville Dinerbar was one of those places you visit without expectations but leave at the end of the night blown away. This may be one of the best eating experiences in Montreal from a food quality and presentation. What a great dinner style atmosphere and super friendly staff. Chef John puts passion into all of his dishes and runs a very impressive kitchen full of beautiful presentation. Great food, Great Presentation, Great atmosphere would highly recommend. Don't forget the dessert, maybe the best I've eaten in Montreal, wow!! Easy parking with public parking lot right next door. Fantastic walking area especially if it's summer time. A must visit would highly recommend 👍👍

It’s a pricey place but it meets the expectations ⭐️ the food was really good and the portions were nice (the apple pie was huge haha), our waiter was clearly the best, always making recommendations without being too insistant, it was a really nice moment :)

Went this Sunday with 7 ppl. Service was great, food was impressively good. Personally I have low expectations for brunch downtown but this blew me away. Everything was good, pancakes were very good, eggs and etc plates very nice one notch higher than most places, chicken and waffles very nice and Caesar salad was a great choice. We had Igor as a server and our services was impressive. I will definitely be going back.

Everything about this place was amazing ! Maika was THE ABSOLUTE BEST her service was phenomenal she knew all about the men gave great recommendations and the food taste amazing ! We went for brunch and it was reasonably priced. Visiting from NYC this was definitely a great choice.

I went on a Wednesday night while I was in Montreal from New York for dinner and ordered the Cacio e Pepe pasta dish, which was fantastic. Service was wonderful, the waiters and hosts were incredibly friendly, and the vibe inside was super cool. No wait to be seated, and it was fairly uncrowded. 5/5 all around, would absolutely recommend.

We enjoyed our breakfast but would have preferred to sit in the spacious and mostly empty booths. However the booths are 18+, even during daytime dining so we were relegated to the noisy crowded harshly illuminated upper dining area. Put a damper on the meal.

It's a fun and lively restaurant. Music is loud, but it may have been because we were seating under a speaker. A good mix of styles. The food was good; however, a little on the expensive side.

Deville has been my favourite restaurant in Montreal for the longest. I've been going there for several years (since way back when they had that jalapeño cornbread skillet entrée). I've had breakfast and dinner here many times over. Great food, great cocktails, great service.
