This is our first time in Montreal and this is not a typical diner from the States. While I was expecting egg and othe breakfast options, I was blown away with the menu. Fantastic food, drinks, and desserts that exceeded our expectations. I went savory with the chicken club with a side of mac and cheese. My wife decided to go sweet with the beignets. Our server was friendly and helpful. outstanding

We had calamari, mac and cheese wontons, bad girl pasta and the pollo. Food portions are large, so if I had known I probably could have skipped the appetizers. Not bad but not as good as our main course! So much flavor in the pollo, the potatoes and the seasoning great and the pasta was also delicious! Cool vibe inside, music playing, Monday night NFL football on the tv if you sit by the bar. Would def recommend this place to a friend!

Very disappointing experience. We made a reservation three days in advance for 6-7 people for a birthday, yet we were given a table that was clearly too small for our group. we waited about an hour, and they couldn’t even serve us water because they didn’t have enough glasses. The waiter kept telling us the food would be ready in “10–15 minutes,” but it never arrived within that time. We wait for about 2 hours I understand restaurants get busy, but if customers still have to wait this long after making a reservation, what’s the point of reserving? Unfortunately, this wasn’t the birthday experience we were hoping for at Deville.
Love the place. Unique. Service was exceptional today, they know how to connect with the customer and treat kids. Food is awesome, a bit on the heavy side (but ain’t everything that’s so good like that:)). I tried the club sandwich before and it was great. Today I had brunch, avocado sandwich was very good and my wife loved the omelettes.

Traveling from UK had one night in Montreal and found this place for dinner we both had burgers and have to say they were the best friendly service and buzzy atmosphere great cocktails and local beer
This is easily my favorite restaurant in the world. It has variable pricing options from cheaper 20$ fares all the way to 300$ vanities. It has everything form chicken, to burgers, to prime steak cuts, to pasta and Mac and cheese. The service is impeccable and the bar is fully stocked, they'll take your requests and take it as a challenge, they know what they're doing.
The beignets were so good that I cried with joy

The experience started off well, drinks and food were ordered without a problem. When the food came, the croquettes tasted terrible. Whatever their recipe is, it has an awful flavor. No waiter/waitress came back to our table until we were all done. We told them that it tasted bad and they did not take it off our bill. Very weird for what seems like a fun place. Drinks and food were the most expensive we have encountered on this trip so odd they do not stand behind the quality. The calamari was very good.
It’s pretty good. The burger quality is good itself. They have some good breakfast items too.
Went here for brunch in early September 2026. Awesome place! We didn’t have a reservation but had no issues getting a booth table. The staff were friendly and easily switches between French and English. I’m learning French so I greatly appreciate that the staff were patient as I ordered coffee en français. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: The Continental Breakfast. Ma copine est “sans gluten”, but we had no issues with this dish.
