Generous portions of lamb danshak (spinach) and cumin rice. I ate it way too fast, it was so good ! This is my second time at Curry Naan, and certainely not my last

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We specifically asked the staff if the food was freshly prepared, and we were told that everything was made fresh. Based on that, we placed our order. However, it quickly became clear that this was not the case. The restaurant itself is extremely small, with the kitchen and stove located right next to the seating area. The entire place filled with smoke while cooking, to the point where our eyes were burning from the spices in the air. When we asked the staff to turn on the exhaust, we were told it wasn’t installed yet and would only be set up the following week. Instead, they opened the door, which made things worse as it was very cold outside, leaving us freezing while waiting for our food. We then noticed the staff heating up pre-packaged naan on the stove. When we questioned this, he admitted that they were not freshly made and that their tandoor wasn’t installed yet. This was surprising and disappointing, as fresh naan is expected at an Indian restaurant. We asked to cancel the naan, but he refused since it had already been heated. Throughout our time there, we could constantly hear the microwave being used, which made it obvious that most of the food was not freshly cooked but simply reheated. There was also an uncomfortable incident regarding restroom use. A boy was denied access to the washroom because he wasn’t a customer. However, shortly after, a group of girls used the washroom without asking, and the staff said nothing. When the boy returned and tried again, he was stopped once more. When we questioned this inconsistency, the staff denied even seeing the girls and became defensive and dismissive when we suggested checking CCTV footage. At this point, we lost confidence in both the service and the honesty of the staff. We expressed concern about the food quality and freshness, especially after being misled earlier. Despite not eating the food, the staff insisted that we pay and even blocked the exit, which made the situation very uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was extremely poor. The food appeared to be reheated, not fresh, and tasted unpleasant. Combined with the smoky environment, lack of proper ventilation, and unprofessional behavior, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The food isn’t terrible, but the main issue is that they serve very generic, watery gravies that lack flavor and depth. I was especially disappointed with the naan it didn’t seem freshly made like in most restaurants and tasted more like store-bought (similar to Costco naan). They charge same amount like normal restaurant but do not deliver the quality. We ordered two curries and four naans, and unfortunately, almost everything was underwhelming. That said, the staff were hardworking and very polite, which I genuinely appreciated.

The workers and chef are very nice and friendy! The food was great but the butter chicken was lacking just a bit, i also ordered it normal (no spicy) so that could be it too 🫶

Went here with a group of eight at like midnight and the staff was so accommodating, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was so friendly and lovely! I can’t say enough nice things. Thank you very much :)
