My friend Sara vale's review says it all. I don't see in any way how u can give this place more than a 1 star. It really hurts me to rate a small business badly but I just cannot give it a better rating. Honestly I feel like I payed 23 bucks for a nann i couldve bought a whole pack of at the store for 5 dollars and some chicken in tomato soup with cream and I don't feel that's fair. But this place just opened so Im going to give it that fact to hope it gets better over time!

Me and my friend came here because I saw it was a new business with a few 5 star reviews and we wanted to give it a chance. I'm now convinced the reviews were from the owner or his friends. The service was..weird/creepy, I don't know how else to explain it. Any time we asked for something they would just give us a very weird look in the eyes. We ordered our food (butter chicken combo and another butter chicken with 2 cheese naans), and they said it would be out in 15 minutes. I asked for a cup of water that I never received until asking again later. As we were waiting, we noticed the steam from the kitchen filling the dining area. After 30 minutes of waiting (we were the only people in there) I received my food (my friend still didn't). Right away I noticed the room-temperature, non-homemade chalky naan and the room temperature rice. I tried the butter chicken and I was genuinely confused as I have never had butter chicken that tasted like this in my life. It tasted like... tomato soup? Very bitter, acidic, and absolutely no depth of spices or flavor. After 10 minutes of me eating my food while my friend is still waiting, he tells my friend there is no cheese naan and asks if she will take regular naan. She agreed. About 5 minutes later my friend finally got her food, containing the same tomato soup, flavorless butter chicken and room temperature naan. We payed about $25 each for this meal, which felt disappointing in every aspect. I wish I could have good things to say about this business but I just don't. I would recommend curry mahal or café rutba (both close by on St Laurent) instead.
