We couldn’t get a reservation at another restaurant so this was a last minute decision. Two adults + two kids. Each kid got a kid meal, then ordered one main and two appetizers (fondue has two small cheese cubes), plus two drinks. $120! Although I liked their beef carpaccio very much, the grilled chicken salad was horrible. I suspect no one ordered that so the chicken tasted very stale. Not even full, let alone satisfied.

We were very excited to eat at this restaurant, but we’re highly disappointed at the boiled vegetables that accompanied our otherwise delicious meal. Glad we made reservations as the restaurant filled up rather quickly.
We went on Sunday, just in time for lunch. So much a cute space, tight quarters, but we didn't care. It added to the atmosphere. Breakfast poutine, grilled cheese and cocktails to start our time in Quebec City off. Our waiter was lovely and helpful. Didn't correct our terrible attempt at speaking French and played along. Would absolutely return!
Great atmosphere, food and service. The French onion soup and beet salad were really good. I would definitely come back again and again!
Family friendly & good variety
I arrived fleeing the cold and found a great place, exquisite food and top-notch service
A cute restaurant with good food. Best for bruch time
Loved the food and the atmosphere!
Food, atmosphere and service were all great!!
Classic spot to visit when coming to Vieux Québec. Excellent food, great price, and a quaint environment. Several locations, too.
The food was delicious, so good in fact that we ate there 2 days in a row. The lattes are top notch. Love the vibe and the staff is fantastic!
Must do for breakfast
I had fun in Quebec with Concord
You have to try the ribs! so good! 🥹 Also, the poutine is worth a try, way more cheese than anywhere else and everything’s super fresh 🧀✨
We sampled a bunch of different menu items. The classic beef tartare, one of the listed favourites, can be divisive and not for everyone. Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.
Delicious restaurant. Highly recommend the steak frites and the grilled cheese
A super popular restaurant in town! I’d heard the wait can be up to an hour, so we went on a weekday afternoon and were lucky enough to get seated right away. We ordered pork ribs with apple sauce, mashed sweet potato and veggies, a chicken with fries, and a starter platter with smoked salmon, duck, and deep-fried fromage. The ribs were very tender, though some parts had a bit of tough membrane that made them slightly chewy. Still, they looked amazing — perfectly pink inside, browned on the outside, with a deep smoky flavor. The apple sauce was well-balanced and really complemented the richness of the pork. The chicken was a little dry since it was quite lean, but we still enjoyed it, especially with the gravy. The starter was fun — almost like a mini tasting platter where you could try three different well-prepared bites without feeling overwhelmed. And I have to say, the service was wonderful. The staff were so warm and even happily let me practice my French with them
Delicious food, good kids menu. The food and service felt very upscale, yet they also had a great kids menu with activities for my 9yo stepdaughter. The escargot was amazing!
Amazing maple crepes with fruit. Friendly service. Cool vibe.
Always a good choice for brunch, the employees and the welcoming staff were very nice
Food is decent. Portions are alright, although when you get the big breakfast plate you get a lot of little things and not a lot of breakfast meats. It’s quite filling, service is a bit slow but they’re usually slammed. Would recommend to go to say you’ve been, but wouldn’t necessarily go back unless I had too cause it’s super busy.
Food and location was amazing!
place was totally overhyped. apparently ordered a plate of carbs – so many potatoes and toast... breakfast was ok, certainly not exceptional. place has "tourist trap" written all over it
Cosy and eclectic, I had the pork chop and it was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Would definitely return l.
I would like to give this resturant a 3.5 out of 5, but the option is not available. For an appetizer we had a sharing plate with duck wings, fried cheese and a poutine. The duck wings were very good. The poutine and fried cheese were ok. For our main dishes we had duck breast and seafood linguini. I am sorry to say but the duck breast was very chewy and I was disapointed with it. The sweet potato purée underneath it was actually quite good though. The seafood linguini was good but we have had better at other resturants. That being said the pear cocktail was very good! We ended up getting 2. Dispite the above we still gave dessert a shot. We had the crème brûlée and it was good, but again, I have had better elsewhere. The location is very convenient if you are visiting ville de Québec as a tourist. The service was very very good. In the future I would only go back to try breakfast. Something that initially concerned me was the size of the menu, which makes it difficult to keep the quality of each dish high. My reccomendation would be to remove some options and choose to focus in a certain area.
