A quiet lunch spot at 2 pm on a Sunday, cosy environment downstairs, larger area upstairs, and a welcoming smile from the server. Menu is not extensive but if the snails and French onion soup are anything to go by, you won't be disappointed if you go for a larger meal. Both were served piping hot. The snails were suitably chewy and flavoursome, but the soup was the best French onion I've ever had. A little bit off the main street but being tucked away is probably a bit of a bonus, especially if you’re in a laid back mood.

My partner and I were in Quebec City off season (early april) and stumbled into this place on our first day for lunch. The atmosphere is so charming and cozy I remember it very fondly, and that includes the dishes. Coffee was ok and the breakfast croissant was pretty good (with my favorite croissant I tried in Quebec City/Montreal but I'm not an expert) but it was the duck confit salad we still reminisce about. It made me want to eat salad for every meal, light and rich at the same time! Definitely worth a stop by if you get the chance, especially since it is in a very charming part of the old city too.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We likely had the best french onion soup we will taste. All other recommendations we were presented with turned out to be a 10/10. A great Quebec City experience … Merci!

The onion soup was insanely good! 🙆‍♀️ I was so full I could only manage the soup 🥲 The place has a cute, cozy vibe and feels like a local hidden gem ✨🤫 Plus, the staff were really friendly :)

We came in on a Monday evening and were able to have a table without a reservation. We both had mushrrom risotto. Its was creamy, savory, and seasoned well. Best risotto I've had in a while. We also had the cream brule which was above average. ll in all we had a delightful experience.
