Wonderful restaurant and very friendly to their guests. I called and asked them to make my parents experience special (it was my mother’s birthday) and they were more than happy to accommodate. They went out of their way to make it a very memorable meal for them.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a wonderful friend. I am visiting with my father for the Grand Prix weekend and this was a fantastic way to start the trip. Chez Delmo has impeccable seafood, service, and atmosphere. The location is perfectly situated in Old Montreal. Clement and all of the staff were very attentive and kind. The warm vanilla cake with maple syrup was the best way to end the night (plus some tiramisu as well). I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone!

In my opinion the best seafood restaurant in Montreal. Not cheap but nothing but excellent products. Great cocktails at the bar to start, (there is a tv in the bar area so great to watch the sport events) then to the table. We ordered lobster bisque, clam chowder, scallops and Dover sole meuniere (in brown butter). The service is very nice and professional. You get the feeling that people enjoy working there. Good vibe, good food. elegant setting. One of our favorites.

Best Espresso Martinis around. Unforgettable pouding chômeur. Splendid evening over drinks at the bar served by a warm and lovely staff, and getting to know Benoît. Neighbourhood joint to visit again and again.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was perfection… the walleye was cooked to beautifully… I couldn’t resist, I had to try the clam chowder, I was very curious! I am so glad that I tried it, it is the best clam chowder I have ever had anywhere. I would definitely go back just for the clam chowder alone! Additionally, we were welcomed in by Benoit, the servers were great and the atmosphere was superb… Thanks Benoit for making our experience and exceptional one. KUDOS

Came across this restaurant on a cold blustery night. Benoit quickly welcomed us in and hung my wife’s jacket for her. We were seated immediately and offered drinks. The staff never even seemed to take notice of how underdressed we were. The waiter was amazing. The food was 10 stars! I recommend the Calamari, Lobster Bisque and Lobster ravioli. The Chef even came up with a meal for our very picky daughter. With the incredible level of hospitality that we experienced, we will visit Benoit and his team time and time again when we’re in Montreal! Thank you for such a romantic, memorable evening.

Great seafood restaurant! Top quality, fresh ingredients and generous portions. The greeting is fast and professional, the service is efficient and very friendly. Arguably the best seafood restaurant in Montreal, certainly the oldest, just a 2 minute walk from the Notre Dame basilica in the Old Port. As you come in you are greeted by one of the owners through the bar section, where you can see the original stools and lamps from the 1930s. You get the feel of a classic neighbourhood joint, full of regulars, very busy. The cocktails are very generous (6 oz martinis). They have an nice seafood tower, very festive . The seafood pasta is outstanding. The Dover sole Meuniere is the house specialty, and it's the best i've had anywhere. Also we tried lobster ravioli, which was a highlight. The staff is young, super friendly and professional, and the owners are charming. Strongly recommend, overall a great value. They offer indoor valet parking for $15

Iconic Montreal seafood restaurant that my grandparents took my mother to in the 1930s. The decor has been updated needless to say. Exceptional food, drinks, service and old world charm continue.

Great seafood restaurant. Nice clean decor with artistic murals, professional management. Friendly , and professional waiters. The drinks are fabulous, great bloody caesars and huge martinis. We had soups (lobster bisque) and different entrees. All were great. One of us in our party is allergic to seafood, so I mentioned when I reserved and they had planned accordingly. OveralI a great experience, quality food, reasonable prices on everything, even the wine. The seafood pasta is the best: fresh pasta with large chunks of lobster, jumbo shrimps, scallops and huge clams, in a lobster sauce. I could eat it everyday. Also the lobster ravioli was a hit, generous and fresh.The tables are far apart which is nice, and there are large windows overlooking beautiful buildings. Can't wait to go back!

Оutstanding service from Jordan and Louis! We came specifically for the frog legs (and even mentioned this when making the reservation), and they were absolutely delicious! The texture was delicate, and the presentation was beautiful. We also really enjoyed the wine recommendations that paired perfectly with the dish. Jordan and Louis created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the evening, which made our experience at Delmo truly exceptional. I sincerely recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re planning to be in Montreal!
