A lively, cheerful spot tucked into a big downstairs space, where the energy is always buzzing. Dishes come out on large sharing plates, set on lazy Susans so everyone can dig in together — it feels social right away. The food strikes a nice balance: authentic flavors mixed with familiar crowd-pleasers, all done really well. It’s the kind of place where you can keep it simple with a solid beer or wine, or go fun with a canned piña colada.

Lovely place with very helpful friendly staff. Quick service and very clean. (Open kitchen so you can see them preparing the food) Portions were big and very tasty and also nice cold Tsingtao beers! Highly recommend this place

Very cozy atmosphere, amazing staff, and amazing food. Service was very quick great for people needing a quick bite. The green bean dish was my favorite it had a perfect crunch to it and the hot sour soup was very warming.

The staff is very attentive and their suggestions are spot on. We had boiled fish in chilli oil and chicken in spicy sauce with white rice. Very spicy, very tasty, highly recommended.

I was in Montreal yesterday for a work meeting, and a colleague recommended this place. The food was actually really good — especially the fried shrimp and the General Tao chicken. But the service yesterday really ruined the experience. The staff didn’t feel very friendly, and one male server in particular was quite rude. He looked like he hadn’t slept much — low energy, uninterested, and pretty careless when taking our order. The way he spoke felt dismissive, like he didn’t really care, and it honestly seemed like he’d rather be chatting with his coworkers than doing his job. Also, I think the female server brought us the wrong dish at one point, but we didn’t bother saying anything. What made it more noticeable is that we came back again today, and the two servers we had were great — friendly, attentive, and professional. The difference was very obvious. If someone doesn’t feel like working, they really shouldn’t be on shift, because it directly affects the customer experience. Overall, great food, but the service quality is inconsistent and needs improvement.
