A friend and I stayed two nights at this hotel. Overall we had a great stay. Comfortable beds, spacious room (we got a larger room with two beds and a pullout sofa). The room would be good for a family. One downside was that our room faced interior to the atrium/pool area, but the lighting and lamps in the room did not provide enough light to compensate, so it was quite dim. But not a huge deal since we were out and about most of the days. The pool was warm and indoor hot tub was good. We tried the outdoor terrace hot tubs the first evening. The view facing the ski hills was incredible but it was bitter cold outside and there wasn’t a good pathway between the hotel doors and the hot tubs, so it made it uncomfortable and slippery (also getting in and out of the hot tub was a bit awkward). The hotel is located a hop, skip and a jump to the ski hill, which was extremely convenient. I would recommend this hotel.
Reviews / Ratings for Château Bromont
We stayed at Château Bromont and had a beautiful room (room 225) with a view of slopes Unfortunately, our room was located next to the staircase and elevators and we could also hear people in hot tubs right outside which made it extremely noisy throughout our stay. Guests were constantly going back and forth in the hallway staircases which made it difficult to sleep at night. Aside from the noise issue, the hospitality and staff were truly amazing and helped balance out the experience. Special mention to Raymond — what a gem! He was passionate, smiling, attentive, and offered outstanding customer service. You don’t often encounter people like him these days. Overall, the customer service was excellent, but I would recommend avoiding rooms near the elevator/stairs if you’re looking for a quieter stay.
When I arrived, the room I was assigned was vibrating and making a deafening low frequency noise. The maintenance guy said it was the ventilation system and that it was going to be all night long. I went to front desk to find that they already had another room to move me to, for $60. I dont have to explain much, this is a scam. I chose to checkout and, out of spite, they charged me $50 for a bottle of wine I did not take. Unbelievable.
Geneviève at the front desk (night shift, is AMAZING), Martin at valet also AMAZING!! The rooms are spacious, room 225 has the best view of the mountain (it's also a balcony room). It's 6 min from old Bromont, the hill is is right there. You can't go wrong at this hotel. ** I would not recommend this hotel if you are part of a child's sports team**
The front desk attention was very bad. We didn't have robes and they were unable to provide a response, they simply said, we are out, sorry! Considering that this is a hotel with pools and Jacuzzi, this was a very bad first impression. On top of that our rooms were freezing, with no solution, we asked to change rooms, they say, one more time, we cant, sorry! So our overall experience was far from relaxing. I wouldn't recommend.
This hotel was great, it seemed like we were on a resort with the food options, spa and ski proximity. Everything was clean and service was terrific. The gourmet restaurant was superb for dinner and breakfast. We had a great table looking out on the night ski lights. The pillows on the bed were in rough shape though, with 3/4 being very small and full of balls. Otherwise the bed was good. The pillows were just very old and needed replacing. The other downside was that we waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to the hill. We lost an hour of skiing due to this. It also only seats 6, so if you’re more than a few people waiting, do not count on the shuttle. We also waited 30 minutes for it on our way back and we were about 10 waiting so one group had to walk back in -22. We liked the terrace hot tubs, they weren’t too warm but I assume this was because of the cold. Overall, we’re planning to return for 2 nights in March because the experience was great. We will just bring our own pillows.
