I found the beef brisket and gnocchi plate wouls be 10x better with a less sweet and more savoury sauce. Please be specific on the menu of what kind of onions are included, because not everyone is a fan of crispy sweet onions! The blonde waitress was passive aggressive and a tone as well which made me uncomfortable.

Will begin saying that I’m Peruvian and it’s not the first time I come to this restaurant of your restaurants in Montreal and I use to take friends to try Peruvian food at them 😌 But unfortunately I have to say that the quality of the food had gone down, the octopus carpaccio was missing olive sauce. It’s a shame you don’t have anymore the ají de gallina ravioli and you replaced it with that lasagna that is just a dry pasta with some cheese. As far as I know, lasagna has it’s first later the sauce and there was just oil… almost nothing of ají de gallina! Just a couple of little pieces of breast chicken with barely some sauce and or canes on the top. As a Peruvian client, VERY disappointed - I agree with the prices of they go with the quality of what I’m eating and this Time wasn’t a match 😞 Sorry guys but do better 😎

I think I just ate the best fries I’ve ever had in my life, the fries with truffle mayo was heavenly. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside, the most perfect fries. We had the pan con chicharron and the pasta of the day. The pasta tasted spinachy, slightly spicy and buttery (with no tints of salt).

enjoyable fusion of cuisines, Peruvian and Italian. gnocchi with beef brisket was the slightly pricy highlight. ceviche delicious too. servings are smaller-moderate. great range of drinks. overall Capisco is worth trying, but expect to spend at least $50 a person if not considerably more if you have >1 course and drinks!

it feels as suited for a cozy dinner as it does for a relaxing evening on the terrasse during the summer. A nice balance between comfort and elegance, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. If you're already a fan of Peruvian cuisine, this is worth adding to your list. A great stop while exploring Old Montreal.

The food was fantastic, every dish was perfectly prepared and the flavor was amazing. The duck appetizer was spectacular. It was flavorable and tender. Definitely order two for a table of four. The service was great as well. The cheesecake was the best! Overall an excellent experience!

Small little menu but all done really well. The food is in fact quite good. You need to dig in a bit when choosing a restaurant around old port to avoid the tourist traps. This wasn’t one of those, though the service left a lot to be desired. We got the ice queen and the dining room staff was generally really jaded probably bc theirs is a lot of tourist customs. At these prices it’s unacceptable. I still paid an “acceptable” tip of 18% to be a good citizen but makes me not want to go back.

We asked the server to take back our undercooked chicken, she brought back the same plate and said "it's not raw" and repeatedly said "it's safe to eat". Any normal restaurant would offer to remake it to it being more well done, but they just argued that it's fine to eat. The child at our table later whispered to her mom about the server not being very nice, which is the reason I'm leaving this review. At the end, when we gave this feedback to the server, she said "what am I saying sorry for" Food was mediocre and overpriced, tourist trap for sure

From the moment we walked in we were greeted and welcomed by Mia and this attention continued for the rest of our experience. She helped us with menu and drink recommendations which worked out perfect. The food and drinks were amazing. The braised beef with gnocchi was insanely good. We will definitely be returning.

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation and never expected to eat so well. The concept is a perfect blend of Peruvian and Italian cuisine, and every dish we tried was even better than the last.Beyond the amazing food, the service was outstanding. The entire staff was attentive and welcoming, but we would especially like to thank Mia, who took wonderful care of us. We asked for her recommendations, and every single one was a hit.This place has definitely become one of our favorite restaurants in Montreal. It was an experience that exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

We were a group of friends celebrating a milestone birthday and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in a lovely corner booth, and the restaurant’s retro style created a great atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, and our waitress was especially patient, kind, and attentive. The food was excellent, and the Pisco Sour was outstanding! Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you for making the celebration so memorable!

I was expecting more and therefore I was sadly disappointed. Hopefully this review will temper the expectations of the italian fusion fans. I am a particular fan of italian -japanese fusion restaurants having tried a number in both hong kong and tokyo. From an instagram post I expected something similar from this italian-peruvian fusion restaurant. I am also a pretty big fan of peruvian food. Its not that its not decent, everything was OK, but everythig really could have been a little more excellent with a little more flair and effort. Three of us ate so I tried a lot on the menu, most notable was the cheesecake which was similar to a Basque cheesecake but with a creme caramel top - I have had better but it was very good. The carbonara was decent as well, but again I have had better. MD rating 6.
