We had a few nights in Montreal on a family road-trip and in a city with exceptional food, Cafeterra stood out. I breakfasted here solo one day and was so pleased that I brought my family with me the next day. The ambiance was chill and quiet with comfortable seating, soft jazz, and a politely enforced "no laptops" rule that I adored. The service was friendly and excellent. We had two varieties of the avo-toast, the Ukrainian Country breakfast (pictured), and the waffles. The egg dishes were generous portions even to our American standards, and tasted fantastic! The waffles were a more reasonable size, but still an equally tasty hit. I will definitely be back on my next trip! Смачного!

The worst matcha latte I’ve never tasted. Taste like water…..Even I added sugar it’s still taste horrible

We are a coffee shop!! Our specialization is to make delicious and sophisticated coffee, matcha in our menu is nothing more than following a temporary trend!😏 But, unlike most hyped establishments, we use Organic Japanese Matcha, without adding a ton of sugar and a lot of flavor enhancers!! So, maybe you don't know what natural Matcha tastes like without adding artificial ingredients?:))

Absolutely loved this place- stayed in Montreal for the Grand Prix and went every morning I was there. Great coffee and breakfast dishes- love the croissant w/ ham and cheese.

We stayed at a lovely Airbnb on the same block and were thrilled to have such a divine cafe so close. The reception upon our arrival was rude and abrupt. Menus were thrown on our table. We proceeded to sit there for 15 minutes. The server that seated us walked by several times. My daughter asked if we needed to go to the counter to order and she assertively said she'll 'be right with us'. We sat there for a few more minutes and then left. There are so many welcoming, gracious, top-notch cafes in the area with impeccable service and stellar beverages and food.

Dear customer, we are very sorry to read your review. The pity is that, as a rule, our waiters are always very polite and attentive. But, since we are a small cafe and when only one waiter works in the morning, some small delays are possible, especially when the hall is filled at once!!! In our cafe, no one ever waits 15 minutes to take an order!!😏 Therefore, if you like any establishment, not necessarily ours, and you plan to stay there, in situations such as excessive employment of employees, you could show a little tolerance and calmness to wait for your turn to be served! If not, you are right, there are many other establishments, less popular, where there is no need to wait, due to the small number of customers! Have a nice day!

Came in as a group of 5. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Ate our fill with delicious and well presentable food. Definitely recommend the Shakshuka paired with your favourite coffee.

The shakshouka tasted good and was very filling for me. Perfectly cooked eggs too, the yolks were runny. The staff were very friendly as well. One thing though, the air fried potatoes that we also ordered (not in the picture), were cold, but that's all.

I was at the Montreal Convention center to attend an event. Came here as it came highly recommended on google search. The girls working there are most unfriendly and unwelcoming! The table next to me had the same opinion. When you order food at your table you are required to pay and also tip even before the food arrives which was wired. The avacado toast was very good and so was the cappuccino!

YES!! In our wonderful cafe, there is a PROHIBITION on the use of computers!! This is our rule, which the administration of the coffee shop has the right to establish independently!! For this, we have installed a banner about the ban directly at the entrance to the institution!! Principled ignoring and non-acceptance of our rules by customers does not contribute to the manifestation of hospitality towards such customers! Learn to accept the rules of others, even if they do not fit into your poor and limited universe:))
