Was there 2 weeks ago with my kids and some friends and we ate like champions. My kids were licking their fingers even as picky eaters, devoured the grilled octopus, calamari and pizza. Their cutlets are juicy, their pizzas are savory and their pastas ( i shared a few plates with the boys) were one better than the other. I was surprised that their coffee was better than Milano's and Olympico's which means they must have put alot of effort into picking the right beans and calibrating the machine to have the right amount of coffee each time they make an espresso. I'll definitely go back and looking forward to it.

It's amazing that you can describe a great meal. Sandwich in my case, with amazing ingredients, but where are they? The chicken. Great!... Bread great.

Went last Friday with a few childhood friends and had a fantastic night! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends over great Italian dishes and drinks. Everything from the decor to the overall vibe made for a really enjoyable evening. Definitely looking forward to going back!

Café Gentile West Island is consistently excellent. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern and welcoming — great for a casual coffee, a business meeting, or a relaxed lunch or dinner. The coffee is top-tier, rich and smooth, and you can tell they take pride in every cup. The food is just as impressive. Beautiful restaurant wow, thank you for bringing downtown to the West Island (without the traffic and lack of parking)....Great service and best of all, the food is outstanding. Well done Gentile team....From the appetizers to the salads, to the main's amazing, flavorful and excellent quality. We will definitely be back.

Cafe Gentille DDO made me a nice late and cookie 🍪 the coffee ☕ is well made and the cookie is delicious, and the person who made the coffee was very polite. I love the interior design and the Sicilian flag ❤️ Its a very nice place to have coffee in West Island

Passed by with some friends on a Sunday evening around 7 pm and it was busy. Very nicely decorated and seating was very comfortable. Our waitress Marika was excellent. Friendly, attentive and efficient. We shared a margherita pizza to start which was delicious. My wife had the Veal al limone which she said was good. I wouldn’t have been happy with that plate as the portion was 3 small and thin slices of veal for $40. I would have still been hungry. I had the Chicken parmigiana which was delicious but instead of serving it with a side of pasta, I got fries. Wasn’t crazy about that substitution. My friends also had the veal as well as the cavatelli which was delicious. A nice meal in a nice environment with good service but a few small shortcomings. Highly suggest them to drop the fries with the chicken parmigiana and increase the portion on the veal. Recommended.

I finally made it to Café Gentile for brunch, and it was well worth the wait. It was quite busy when I arrived, but I was seated at the bar, which worked perfectly since I was dining alone. Serena (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) was working behind the bar and was absolutely lovely — warm, personable, and always smiling. I ordered the Avocado Crostini, a Gentile Spritz, and a latte. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the latte was excellent. Since I hadn’t yet tried their dinner menu, I made a reservation and returned with my husband. Once again, the restaurant was very busy, which says a lot. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and shown to our table promptly. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, with great music that adds to the overall experience. Our server, Bella, was attentive without being intrusive — the perfect balance. For appetizers, I had the Artichoke Crostini and my husband ordered the special (Argentine shrimp with quinoa). Both were beautifully presented and full of flavor. For mains, I chose the Grilled Branzino, which was perfectly cooked, and my husband had the Madison Square Garden pizza, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We ended the evening with a brownie topped with marshmallow and vanilla gelato — a sweet and satisfying finish. Thank you to Serena for the thoughtful treat. Between Serena and Bella, the service was outstanding on both visits. Café Gentile delivers not only excellent food but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return. Highly recommended for both brunch and dinner in the West Island.

Food is good, a bit pricey for a small portion of appetizer and pasta. Waitress service is not so good, but the bar man tried his best that we still have a good experience.

I was so excited to try this new location and it did not disappoint at all! From the moment we walked in, the service was great, the staff is always so genuinely welcoming at Gentile's. And as usual, the food was amazing! We had the STK wrap (10/10), the charred up pizza (9/10) and the lasagna parlour (8.5/10). Also love EVERYTHING the design team is doing over there from the packaging to the merch to the restaurant layout.

Up : amaing service Beautiful decor Sandwich and salad were top Down: this is not for a quick non tip Milano style meal Suggested 18% tip , go out of your way to go 15%. Not a practice I support
