Dont think about it thats the spot for sandwiches
What guests say about BOSSA Prêt à manger
BOSSA Prêt à manger is highly appreciated for its generous, fresh, and flavorful sandwiches, with several customers considering them among the best in Montreal. The service is often described as friendly and efficient, but the place can be small and wait times can be long, especially during peak hours; ordering ahead is often recommended. A few reviews also mention some inconsistency and service annoyances, so it’s a good choice if quality matters more than speed.

Came in around 11:30 am on a Monday and in a rush. No line and we ordered the Porchetta and the Nonna's Proscuitto that came out in less than 10 mins. The Porchetta was a heavy and filling sandwich. The Nonna's Proscuitto was much lighter and I could eat the whole thing in one sitting... but needed a walk afterwards. I also ordered a cold latte and it was not bad!
Both the Chicken Parmesan and Canades sandwiches were phenomenal, great balance of meat, veggies, sauce and flavours. The bread is also so delicious, it’s substantial without being over powering and too crusty that it cuts your mouth. The employees are great! The hot pasta is delicious but the cold pasta salads are nothing special in my opinion but still done very well. It does get busy so be prepared to wait 10-20min for your sandwich! This is a cannot miss spot!
I go there once a week and I always get the chicken parm. The quality has always been excellent. However, in the past couple of months I have noticed that the bread is moist when I unwrap it. A moist bread is a turn-off. The bread has to be crunchy… as it used to be. New staff? Maintaining the quality is hard to do. Therefore someone has to sample some and do a quality control before they wrap it up.
Wow what a great place! Delicious all around and the service was so kind. Thank you Anthony for your patience and friendliness you made a tough day much brighter and better 😊 brava!
Tried this place for the first time on Saturday and the food was honestly really good no complaints there at all. The sandwiches were fresh and definitely worth the visit. The only thing I noticed, coming from a store management background, is that the front entrance area gets extremely crowded. Since everyone waits near the door for their orders, it becomes hard to tell where the actual line starts for ordering, which can be a bit confusing for first-time customers. I also noticed that most employees stay behind the counter, so the front area isn’t really being monitored. With how busy it gets, it seems like it could make theft much easier 😵💫.
I like the one on masson but this one is good too
Visited Bossa Prêt-à-Manger on a busy Sunday afternoon. Ordering took just 5 minutes, but we waited around 30 minutes for our food. This felt unreasonable given we only ordered a Philly sandwich (a cold sandwich) and a pre-made potato salad straight from the fridge. That being said, the food was delicious and offered great value for the price. Despite the long wait for a cold meal, the quality was good enough that we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for the taste, just be prepared to wait when it's crowded!
Worth the wait! There's likely to be a lot of people in line but it truly is worth it! Why don't you call that friend you've been meaning to and share some good conversation and laughs over a delicious sandwich? Let's face it they are too big for one person alone. So who could possibly have a issue with a place that allows you to have a great meal and reconnect with a old friend? Certainly not me. Call that friend and have a sandwich 🥪💑
Have mostly ordered through UberEats. When it’s good, it’s great. The problem is consistency. Have often had issues with sandwiches on day-old bread, missing items, and extremely long preparation times. Love the food.. when it’s good. Best of luck guys. You have a great product but consistency is a real issue.
Best in the city
There's not much more that needs to be said about Bossa that hasn't been said before. If you're reading these reviews because a friend or family member recommended Bossa, or you're just scrolling and saw a 4.8 out of 5 stars here on Google Maps, there's good reason for both. The sandwiches are some of, if not the best, In Montreal, maybe Quebec even. They are phenomenal, thoughtful creations, well balanced, and delicious. The bread is a perfect amount of soft and pillowy on the inside and great crust. They're sturdy and hold the generous amounts of filling of whatever sandwich you choose. From the Porchetta, Italiano, Chicken Parm, or their sandwich of the month you really can't go wrong. The ingredients in each have been thoughtfully chosen and play off of each other so nicely. This Bossa location is small and can definitely get crowded, especially around lunch. If you've got the time the lines usually move pretty quickly and is well worth it and service is usually quick and always has a smile.
This has to be one of the best place for a take out or sit down at counter. Pasta delicious Coffee OMG Ricotta lemon cookie. I give it a 10 on 10. Pasta to cook at home Homemade pasta sauce Subs the size enough for two.
Their new chocolate chunk cookies. Absolutely delicious. My go to: NY Pep slice with some spicy oil from Welldun, then finished off with a cookie from Bossa. Culinary bliss, or as I call it “A Wellington Special” ‘Nuff said.
This was my second time eating at Bossa, this time at a different location, and it was just as good as I remembered. The breaded chicken sandwich is absolutely amazing — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The combination of flavors is spot on, and it has that comforting, homemade taste that makes it even better. The staff is friendly, and the place itself is beautiful, with a nice market-style setup where you can also buy products, which adds a really unique touch. Also, the olive oil cake is delicious and definitely worth trying. Highly recommend!
I first had food from Bossa at a friend's birthday party which they catered. On my more recent visit, lunch was every bit as good, maybe even better. Good people. Good food. What more can you ask for?
Food 4/5, Sevice 1/5 How difficult is follow simple straightforward instructions out of many orders 90% of time it is completely ignored and it is for takes out.
Oh my gad! Tha Samiches! Eat them!
There is no way this place isnt 5 stars
Regularly visit the Time-Out location, but today I went to the Verdun location for the first time to try the mini egg cannolis, which were fantastic! Amazing staff here, as the employee who served me was extremely friendly and gave me some suggestions. I always get the eggplant parm sandwich, but I wanted to elect for something new today and asked what other vegetarian sandwiches can be served warm. She told me the Caprese sandwich could be grilled and served warm, and this sandwich was absolutely 🔥🔥. Great experience all around and I look forward to visiting regularly!
Worth the wait
They keep changing the bread and things the staff is wearing no hairnet at all moments, no gloves either
milanese was a 10/10, juicy, fresh spicy sausage on the other hand is not for the weak. way too spicy for me
Very good sandwiches.
Had a very weird interaction with the cashier last night. She didn't want to add an extra to my sandwich and then I got home I did not have the extra in my sandwich. Even tho I was charged for the extra hot peppers . Was just a very weird interaction, kinda sad cause I do like the food.
