We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server Rosalie was great she explained the menu and gave us some suggestions the best part was when she brought our food and said voila!!!

Today, I went to the Ben & Florentine restaurant located downtown on Mansfield Street after dropping off my vehicle for servicing and a tire change. Upon arrival, I was assigned a small table for two. I had my breakfast and then ordered a smoothie. While I was still within my expected waiting time (approximately two hours, until I could pick up my vehicle), the waitress seemed eager to bring me the bill, which I paid immediately. Barely five minutes after I had paid, the waiter came to ask me to vacate the table so they could seat other customers. I refused, explaining calmly that I had not yet reached the two-hour period and that I was simply waiting to retrieve my vehicle. The waiter then adopted an insistent and inappropriate attitude, even going so far as to question how much time I had left while looking at his watch, clearly putting pressure on me. I indicated that I had about 15 to 20 minutes remaining, but his behavior made it clear that he wanted me to leave immediately. I find this attitude disrespectful and completely unacceptable. It shows a clear lack of consideration for the customer. This is an experience I have never encountered before and does not reflect the level of service one would expect. I would like to bring this situation to your attention and hope that it will be taken seriously.

I arrived to a busy venue with serving ladies rushed off their feet. Despite this, I was served quickly and the delicious food was excellent value for money. The servers were hard-working and friendly - a credit to the venue.

I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I’m usually very patient. However, there comes a point where it becomes unacceptable. The table across from us received their meals within 20 minutes of arriving and even finished eating while we were still waiting. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food—and that’s not even the worst part. A table of six walked in an hour after us but still got their food before we did. At that point, I was honestly very frustrated. I tried to stay understanding, but waiting nearly two hours for our food, only to see people who arrived much later being served first, makes no sense and feels is unprofessional mind we were only 2 people.

One of my favorite breakfast spots downtown! I always go for the classic breakfast and it’s consistently great. The menu offers lots of choices and the food is always fresh and tasty. Perfect place to meet friends and enjoy a relaxed brunch, whether on weekdays or weekends.

Friendly staff made sure our group of 14 was treated like kings ! Our friends from Belgium loved the food to the point that they're thinking about importing the concept to Europe. We were there on the morning of Dec 31 and back the next day. A fabulous breakfast experience!
