The food and atmosphere were excellent. We ate at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. She was friendly and had great suggestions. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

We found out about Bello through a google search. We had a great meal at Bello while visiting Quebec City. The food was fantastic and service was great. Our only negative comment would be how close the tables are to each other. There was very little space between tables. We were lucky to be seated at the end of a line of tables against the windows, so we only had tables on 2 sides which made the closeness feel less.

Bello has a beautiful, warm ambience. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and the food was delicisous. I highly recommend Bello if you live in Quebec city, or on your next visit. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a lovely evening at Bello. It is a bustling friendly atmosphere in authentic rustic surroundings. Our table was near the open kitchen pizza maker and we were entertained by his skill and the obvious cohesiveness of all staff. Our waiter was engaging and very personable and the food delicious. We appreciated the ability to order 1/2 orders of pasta, which were plentiful! Definitely look forward to returning!

All in all this was great! The steak cooked to perfection. The pizza was delish. The staff werr friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Pretentious employees serving equally obnoxious clientele. If you don't look like them expect to be ignored, then when you are not ignored and they must serve you expect to be treated like they have better things to do. A truly lousy dining experience with subpar barely edible food that makes frozen dinners look far more appetizing.

Bello had a nice vibe to it. The soups & risottos were excellent, as was the beef cheek and the meatballs. It's easy to see why Bello is so popular.

Good service, but an underwhelming visit overall. Service: Trately excellent – attentive and friendly staff. This was the highlight. Food: Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype from food bloggers. My main dish, the FETTUCCINE ALL'ANATRA, was underwhelming and tasted quite bland (though I prefer stronger flavors). The foie gras component, however, was done well. Portions: On the smaller side. Ambiance & Logistics: The space is very tight and crowded, with tables placed close together. Despite having a reservation, our entire party had to wait at the front with other guests before being seated, which felt inefficient. Verdict: Might suit those seeking a lively atmosphere and lighter flavors, but it wasn't for me. I likely won't be returning.

I have been dining at Bello over the last ten years or so. The food is excellent, as is the staff. It is my favorite restaurant in Quebec City. I have never been disappointed in any meal, as the food is consistently good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Portions are perfect and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
