Food and ambiance were great. I would definately go back or recommend Bello.
We had an amazing dinner at Bello. You're greeted at the door and the second you enter the restaurant you know you're in for a wonderful dining experience. The staff are all involved in serving all the tables. That is great leadership and management. The food was the best Italian we have ever tasted. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of restaurant. Toronto is much higher as we live 30 miles from Toronto. I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could. Don't think twice about visiting. We received a great review to visit from friends of ours. Enjoy this unique dining experience for yourselves. This restaurant isn’t that good—at least not one of the best. The food tastes decent, but the noodles weren’t fully cooked. What disappointed me the most was the extremely inefficient service and the almost nonexistent attitude. We waited more than ten minutes just to get the bill, and the food took a very long time to arrive. What made me even more upset was that a waitress dropped a plate right next to me, and the shards nearly hit my feet and legs. Yet she didn’t even say a single word of apology to me or to the table next to us, as if nothing had happened. I won’t be coming back.
The food was super delicious—the presentation and portion sizes were perfect. The service from the Mexican guy who speaks French and English was excellent. Delicious! I loved it.

Extremely poor service for a 80$ per person lunch. Waitress rolled her eyes when we said we would not be drinking alcohol with lunch, understand that it helps her tip but our party is sober. Then forgot our coffee orders and was upset when we asked again for them. Then proceeded to upcharge us on an appetizer for the beef tartare and sent a full portion after we explicitly stated we wanted the small portion. Overall the food was great, not the best Italian I’ve ever had but the pizza was excellent. For this expensive and this highly regarded restaurant, you are far better spending large sums of hard money elsewhere. Embarrassing.
Restaurant Bello hosted our group of 16 in March 2026 with a Table d' Hote and the food and service was superb. This was my first time dining here on a nearly annual Quebec City skiing trip and it was great.
Really authentic and warm atmosphere. Wood fired pizza, salad and wine. Really enjoyed my meal and visit

The food and atmosphere were excellent. We ate at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. She was friendly and had great suggestions. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
We found out about Bello through a google search. We had a great meal at Bello while visiting Quebec City. The food was fantastic and service was great. Our only negative comment would be how close the tables are to each other. There was very little space between tables. We were lucky to be seated at the end of a line of tables against the windows, so we only had tables on 2 sides which made the closeness feel less.
Amazing place! Great service and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Make sure to have a reservation if you are there for dinner.

Bello has a beautiful, warm ambience. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and the food was delicisous. I highly recommend Bello if you live in Quebec city, or on your next visit. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed a lovely evening at Bello. It is a bustling friendly atmosphere in authentic rustic surroundings. Our table was near the open kitchen pizza maker and we were entertained by his skill and the obvious cohesiveness of all staff. Our waiter was engaging and very personable and the food delicious. We appreciated the ability to order 1/2 orders of pasta, which were plentiful! Definitely look forward to returning!
Overpriced; not reflective of quality of food, quantity of food, and certainly not service. Negligent staff for a bill just shy of $100 per person
All in all this was great! The steak cooked to perfection. The pizza was delish. The staff werr friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back!
Pretentious employees serving equally obnoxious clientele. If you don't look like them expect to be ignored, then when you are not ignored and they must serve you expect to be treated like they have better things to do. A truly lousy dining experience with subpar barely edible food that makes frozen dinners look far more appetizing.
The food is amazing. This was our second visit and we will happily visit again the next time we are in Quebec.
