We got there on a habs game night with no reservations Zoe at the bar greeted us with a big smile verifying if they had a spot for us and yes they did , she was very nice, fast and made us feel welcomed, we will definitely come back for the warm personality!! The rest of the staff was also very nice the vibe was nice between all of them. Go and say hi to Zoe you will see what I mean:) Go Habs Go!!

Dorian did a great job on his first night serving our table of 8. Food was good but not as good as 25 years ago. Or maybe I'm just being nostalgic. Good option for large groups. Lots of food to choose from to suit all dietary needs and tastes.

Shut down and call the exterminators already, we've never seen anything like this before 🐀🐀🐀 Please check all of my other reviews, and notice how they are all positive and five-stars. I'm leaving my very first negative review in order to help others avoid eating in a mouse infested restaurant. Place was 90% empty at 9pm on a Thursday night, we asked to sit at the bar to watch hockey, and they said no (bar was full of empty seats), as there weren't enough servers in the bar, and put us in the dining room. Waitress was nice, food tasted okay, and we engaged in conversation. It was when we were taking our last bites, that my friend from Texas almost jumped out of his seat, saw a huge mouse run from underneath our booth across the room. When we asked to speak to the manager, we noticed in the 10 minutes that it took for him to arrive, that it was an entire family of mice eating all the food off of the filthy floors. The manager was unapologetic, but seemed sympathetic, and advised us that the owners know about the problem, yet it persists. As I was showing him a picture of one of the mice , my friend pointed him to the family of mice, and he saw them with his own eyes, and didn't seem surprised. I suggested this restaurant to my guest from our of town, as I used to bartend here in the mid '90s. My friend and I have traveled to 30 countries combined, and have never seen such a thing. No apologies or compensation were offered, which is fine by me. We won't ever return. Pics uploaded, one of the mice scurring through the dinning room circled.

The meal was good. After finishing we noticed 2 mice running passed out table. We asked for a manager who appeared about 10 minutes later. We explained how surprised we were and he acknowledged they have a problem. Until the health inspectors arrive and fix the problem, I wouldn’t eat here!

My apologies for to the staff and management, I entered my low rating experience for a different restaurant. The server in this instance was professional, courteous and paid attention to the smallest detail. The food was excellent and I'll definitely return on my next visit in 2027. Once again my apologies.

My family and I truly enjoyed dinner. Everyone had a different meal and we all agreed all of the food was delicious. I had the NY Strip, sweet potato fries and Brussel sprouts with walnuts. The other dishes we had were the seafood sandwich with potatoes, the Devil burger and fries, and the shrimp pasta. Everything was so flavorful. The waiter was awesome. He was kind, patient and had a sense of humor. My family and I appreciate these attributes. The atmosphere was lively but calm. The portions were filling. The prices were reasonable. I have added Baton Rouge to my list of restaurants to revisit.

I’m a pretty picky eater, which is one of the reasons I usually prepare my meals at home. That said, when I’m on vacation, I do enjoy stepping out and trying local restaurants and flavors. I chose Baron Rouge because it has an American-style flair that felt familiar. One thing I noticed during my time in Montreal is that many dishes tend to be served more warm than hot—and unfortunately, lukewarm fries are a big miss for me. That said, the service truly stood out. If you visit, I highly recommend asking for Louis. He’s attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely patient in a way that feels sincere, not forced. He really made my experience a positive one.

Visited downtown Montreal for the first time and for a long overdue trip with my husband. Rita was amazing, it was quiet and she was attentive but not over bearing. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was very relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed!

We visited Baton Rouge last night and we had a very enjoyable experience. BBQ ribs were tender, juicy, and coated in a rich, flavorful BBQ sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Our waitress, Rita, was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the entire visit. She made sure everything was perfect and added a personal touch that made us feel very welcome. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for both the quality of the food and the outstanding service. I will definitely be coming back again!

I have had a bad experience with the food from Baton Rouge before, so my expectations were very low coming in tonight. And let me tell you, this time, everything was exceptional. We had a table of 9 and were greeted by Louis right off the bat - super engaging, super funny, super accommodating. My partner and I decided to grab the truffle mac n cheese entrée, and the short rib seafood pappardelle - and we absolutely devoured it. The time it took for our food to reach the table from when we placed the order was quick - which was a pleasant surprise - and the food came HOT. Huge shout-out to Lany, who was a great presence for helping out Louis with us at our table and for their amazing service and attention to detail. I am so glad I can safely say I will be coming back to this restaurant. I look forward to trying more from the menu.
