Went with colleagues for a little 5 à 7 & we stayed till almost midnight. The service was excellent, Nina was great. The food was okay… I had high expectations I guess. I was disappointed that their tasting menu only had 1 ceviche out of at least 6 dishes. Definitely would order differently, I personally would not recommend the tasting menu, the portions are generous but the options underwhelming. The only other dish I enjoyed was the octopus over potatoes and avocado, the ceviche mahi was great. They served fried sea food that had potential to be good but came at the end of the meal when we were full. The beef was ok. 2 dishes with potato wedges is also too much in my opinion when you have so much to showcase on your menu. Please reimagine the tasting menu. The dessert was great too. The ambiance and vibes were great!

I have been calling for two days and nobody other than the robot answers. There’s no way to make reservations online, and the robot doesn’t know how to modify reservations. Very disappointing.

My family and I travelled from Toronto to enjoy MTL food and culture. Barranco was chosen by my wife to celebrate her birthday, and the place did not disappoint. The food was terrific, we loved the cevice , grilled octopus and the chiccarone tacos. The drinks were also very good, they had designer mocktails for the kids to enjoy. We want to thank Nabila for her excellent recommendations and service hospitality. She was very attentive to our needs and provided us with a wonderful celebration!

I absolutely loved this place. We were two and shared a few dishes: the Taquitos Chicharrón (sooo good — they come with three but you can add an extra), the Yuquitas (delicious but a bit heavy, so perfect to share), and the Ceviche Clásico, which was my personal favorite (gotta love lime). For dessert, we had the Crème Brûlée de Lúcuma. For drinks I tried the Chicha Sour, made with their homemade pisco. Loved it so much I ordered a second one. Beyond the amazing food and ambiance, the service truly stood out. You can tell they’re proud of what they serve and really care about the overall experience. Definitely a place you need to try!

Ambiance and service were both really good.The food however, was SUBPAR.*And I know my peruvian (🇵🇪) food*I included only pictures of what I thought was good: the “pio pio” tacos and the pisco maracuya.The two mains, the “aji de gallina” and the “kam lu wantan,” were just VERY mediocre. For a restaurant of this price ($$$), I am quite dissapointed and expect better ☹️.This review sounds like it was written by a 55 year old woman (I am a 22 year old man🧍‍♂️), which really says something.This place should just serve tacos, cocktails, and call itself a Mexican restaurant (Barranmexico) 🇲🇽

We expected this place to be good, but it surpassed our expectations. It was our first time here, Valentine's Day dinner, and everything was perfect. The ceviche and limo saltado were amazing, as were the patacones. We tried a few different cocktails, they are a bit pricey but they were all prepared with care and didn't cheap out on the spirits. Our waitress was super attentive, the music was great and the general vibe if the place is just very upbeat and positive. Prices are about what your expect but can ramp up quickly with the drinks. Highly recommend everything we tried here, especially the ceviche clasicó and the lomo saltado.
