Me and my dad had a wonderful experience at Arthur’s today. I have been before but this was my first time since they renovated the place and it had a wonderful vibe. The staff was amazing. We tried to order some items but they had run out so they gave us a dessert on the house which was very kind. The food was delicious as usual and the wait time was much shorter than previous visits (only 12 minutes). If you haven’t been already, I highly recommend it!!
Reviews / Ratings for Arthurs Nosh Bar
Awful. Overrated. Worst filter coffee of my life. I barely drank it and they charged my 4$! I literally saw people coming in with coffee from across the street from Cafe Campanelli! Also they don't have certain thinks on the menu in the week which was disappointing. What I ordered wasn't anything special. The latkas were good. The best thing were the pancakes but there were only 2 and it's 18$...ridiculous. Never going back.
The new renovations are so nice! Alexandra the waitress is always amazing, kind and quick. Forever my fav brunch spot in MTL.
Pancake so good and avocado toast
Probably the best pancake I’ve ever had 😋 Jesse suggested it to us and im glad he did. Great brunch overall, the team was so welcoming and smiling. Loved starting my day there hehehe
I only dock a tiny point for the squishy seating, other than that this is THE spot!!! Iconic food, always bringing new friends to Arthur’s because it’s just that good. Such a beautiful family story too. Come for breakfast, come for brunch. Whatever you choose, make sure you get a cookie on your way out 😉🩵
The cafe vibe is great. The decoration is beautiful. We ordered The hot chocolate, tense and tastes good. For the food. We ordered the cottage cheese pancake. First bite, heavenly delicious. Little crispy outside, soft inside. Love it. The egg and salami also amazing. The mc arthur sandwich (fried chicken sandwich) is ok, personally not that special, a lil bit dry.
A bit overpriced for what you get. Food is very good though. Service a little rude: customers don’t know the menu by heart. And at 4,50$ for a filtered coffee, we could expect somebody asking kindly, if you want a refill.
I am wondering where the guys that are supposed to give service to people ? Laughing with each other’s and playing with phones while the line is totally full ! Rude guys!
Honestly one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in Montreal. Everything tasted super fresh, and the quality of cooking was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The only downside was the long wait time. I really wish they had a reservation option on their website ,it would make things much easier!
So popular for a reason. Great food, prices are fair. Glad they expanded recently so that seating is more comfortable and the whole place is more spacious. When I can I go during weekdays because I haven’t needed to wait.
From the moment you walk in you feel unwelcome. I wasn’t allowed to be seated until my friend arrived because they did not want me to stay seated too long. Me and my friend were rushed into ordering and felt uncomfortable so we decided to share one plate and leave. Funny enough we waited a long time to get the bill or anyone’s attention that we decided to pay at the cash. Would not recommend going to such an unwelcoming place the food was good but way overhyped
We love.love.love the pancakes here. Best in Montreal. We have tried to make them ourselves but never came close. It is small and it gets crowded but the atmosphere is good, and the food is great. It is a must go for breakfast in the city.
We loved Arthurs! Deliciously fresh and comforting food, wonderful service, busy and bustling the entire time but we never felt rushed. Excited for them to have a liquor license to try some cocktails, but for the time being I enjoyed my London Fog 😊 I really loved the family photos in the space and how thoughtful everything felt. We spoke with one of the staff members for a while just chatting about the city and the restaurant, and he came back a few minutes later with a complimentary cookie which was just as delicious as our breakfast. We’ll be back for sure!
Food is very good, but expect a long wait. I had to wait an hour for a table and almost 40 minutes more for the food. Not worth the hassle
overpriced and mid.
The place is loud, organisation is average and also 4.75 for a filter coffee is bad. The server also was rude, he said to the other table « this is not McDonald, he won’t take 5 min » when they ask about the time. The energy is bad but food is good. Everything from that place put me off, the food is not enough to keep me coming back.
Indeed the best pancakes in town!
Great brunch/lunch today - beautiful new restaurant, staff was so friendly (bilingual which is amazing), didn’t wait long for food, delicious… wonderful experience. We will be back soon! You would never know they just opened back up Monday!
Amazing food that makes me feel like I'm at home.
Highly recommend !
LOVE this place! I’ve driven from Ottawa with friends for this brunch! Always a must when in Montreal.
Hands down my favourite brunch in Montreal
I dream of this place. Few places in other cities that keep me up at night. "Run don't walk" everything is unreal. The staff and owners are also incredible.
Outstanding, impeccable, scrumptious most delicious brunch in our beautiful city . Chapeau to such loyal devoted, hard working blood sweat and tears restaurateurs. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding performance each and every time we visit . Congratulations and can’t wait to return. 💕
