The food was tasty, no complaints, but the service was rude. If you want a successful business you have to train the staff how to interact with people, not to be pretentious and expect tips for just being there.

Love coming back to this place. Their arepas are de-li-ciO-sas. The juices are fresh. Their arepas and empanada options are varied, they easily accomodate personal preferences. Staff is attentive.

Best arepas ever. Finding this gluten free place during our stay in Montreal was amazing. We went 3 times in one week.

Hipster latino food featuring mainly arepa sandwiches. Bigger, and definitely more trendy that I expected with their awesome artsy portrait paintings. My rating is very likely due to my mistake of ordering a black bean soup (filling me up with bloated heaviness, wasn't anything special) before my main meal could be enjoyed. I managed to consume of the argula salad (bitter) and maybe 2 bites of my arepa before calling it quits. My other friends had a much better experience... ordering a variety from fancy cheeses to pulled pork to chicken, everyone loved their selections. Also staff was very cool about doing separate checks to make it easier for us. Anyways moral of story is don't eat a giant can of black beans before your entree if you want to have a good time.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re glad to hear that your friends enjoyed their meals and that our team could help with separate checks. We noticed you mentioned a black bean soup, but that’s not actually on our menu. We hope this didn’t cause too much confusion. We appreciate your feedback about the arugula salad — taste can be subjective, and we always love hearing how we can make our dishes even more enjoyable. We’d be thrilled to have you visit us again and try more of our arepas and other offerings. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Those empanadas were something else. The sauces too. Bring more Venezuelans

I have loved this place over the years but it’s become too expensive for an Arepa for me. $18 before tip for only the sandwhich.

Thank you for your feedback and for supporting us over the years. We work with high-quality local products and make our arepas fresh in-house every day. Unlike large chains, we don’t mass-produce our food, which affects our costs. Our prices are comparable to, and often lower than, other sandwich options in Montreal, including fast-food chains, while remaining a local, handmade product. We’re also proud to offer some of the most affordable arepas in the city. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back

Lovely place, delicious food, cheap prices, many options, especially for people with dietary restrictions. They seem to have built their menu around people who cannot consume gluten, but it doesn't taste like it at all. I tried this place out to bring my celiac brother. Very satisfied and looking forward to having him feel included when going out to eat. Good for vegans, vegetarians and picky eaters ! There are also many meat options :)
