I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice, and wonton soup from Yame Restaurant Asiatique. Not a single item I received matched what I ordered. As a business owner myself, I would be embarrassed to let a customer experience this. We are from out of town and chose this restaurant because it appeared to have good reviews. After this experience, it’s very clear those reviews were likely written by family and friends, because what we received was nowhere near the quality or professionalism advertised. From the person who took the order, to the cook, and even the driver, there was inadequate follow‑through at every step. No one checked the order, no one corrected the mistake, and no one took responsibility. When I called to resolve the issue, the female owner hung up on me and refused to refund my money, even though the food was untouched. The driver had to return to pick up the incorrect order, including the wonton soup, which I handed back exactly as it was delivered. The owner claims this is the “best food in Gatineau and Ottawa.” If this is considered the best, I genuinely feel bad for the people of Ottawa and Gatineau. This was unprofessional, disappointing, and completely avoidable. I will not be ordering from here again I don't recommend anyone does. DINNER COST $68.30 Not edible
