A little pricey but great food
Reviews / Ratings for Yakitori Hibahihi
This place is a gem! From the minute you walk in you are met with smiles and warmth and a beautiful decor. The sake and wine list is great! Multiple portion options available. The menu is exactly what you want from a yakitori restaurant with cold and hot sides and even the chef’s trademark sashimi bowls and ramen! Every skewer we tasted was perfection and the Maguro dish is out of this world!!! Chutoro available too is heaven. Desserts are light and delicious to end the meal!! You leave already planning and craving your next meal there! Long live Hibahihi and chef Hiroshi!!!!! Thank you team!
Legit.
Great service and atmosphere, we love the concept! But sadly the food was disappointing. All of the yakitori we tried lacked the char, felt almost undercooked, and missed the charm that defines good yakitori.
Staff is amazing! Highly recommend
Super friendly, food was amazing and the vibe is elite. It’s not cheap but aye you pay for a great experience and food👌🏿
It’s good for drink and chill, food is normal, some is not that good . chirashi ,rice too dry and sour, chicken liver is too raw with me…
Best experience ever. I recommend going there if you want to drink some amazing unusual sake. The food was literally the best. I recommend any sashimi especially the chef’s choice plate and the yakitori. Potato salad, yum. The service is attentive and charming. I want to go back again and again! If you are looking for an intimate authentic japanese restaurant this is the place to go.
We loved our experience here. Delicious plates, great service and the place is a total vibe. Comfortable, well ventilated, great recommendations from the staff and overall a 10/10 date spot.
The best yakitori I’ve ever had. Exceptional service (India was divine and very hospitable & knowledgeable), the vibe was perfectly upbeat and chill, and the food was six stars out of five. Definitely a gem and worth coming back over and over
Yakitori Hibahihi is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for a relaxed evening or a special night out. Every skewer was expertly grilled—tender, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The balance of smoky char and seasoning was spot on. Our experience was made even better by our server, Flavie, who was incredibly likeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel truly well taken care of without ever being intrusive. You can really feel the care and authenticity behind every dish and the service. If you’re looking for exceptional yakitori, great vibes, and a memorable dining experience, Yakitori Hibahihi is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.
The service was excellent. The food was decent, but not quite what I expected. That said, I really enjoy their egg salads and drinks. However, the prices are a bit high compared to the overall quality. Still, if you’re curious to try yakitori, it’s worth giving it a chance
Price are terribly high for a yakitori shop. You should put the price for the whole 2 Yakitori and not asking people to take 2 minimum. Otherwise you should allow people to take 1 Yakitori. So it's 10 $ for 2 small Veggie Yakitori. 5 Dollars / Yakitori minimum is way too expensive. You feel that the staff have been trained on this specific issue to avoid friction with the menu and gave recommandation on what to order. For exemple they told us that the 38 $ could be share for 2. Actually is a small Toro don for 1 person. Too expensive and too small . I took a Mousse au Chocolat, more than half of it was Ice cream and some chocolat jelly in a small cup. I felt cheated. The restaurant is missing some piece to be a real Japanese experience like Seseri or kawa and tare or salt option. Tsukune were way off from Japanese Quality. Sake menu is amazing and cocktail are well served. Count 80 $ for a 500 ml Sake Carafe. Waiter.ess were amazing, oshibori at the start is a nice attention.
Disappointing I was brought here for a small date celebration with minimal expectations. I’ve had excellent yakitori elsewhere, so I came with an open mind to try something new and close by. We ordered two glasses of wine, pickled cucumber/daikon, octopus salad, a $4 bowl of rice, and yakitori (Angus beef, pork belly, chicken thigh, and chicken wing). The wine arrived quickly, followed by the pickled dish and rice, then the salad shortly after. Over an hour later—wine finished—our yakitori still hadn’t arrived. From the start, the food lacked any real Asian flavor profile. The octopus salad was overpowered by seaweed, and the pickled cucumber/daikon tasted like plain pickles with no Asian flair. I was still willing to give it a chance, but the main dishes never came. When we asked, we were told there was a grill issue. While understandable, both tables seated next to us were also experiencing issues. Eventually, one of the four yakitori orders arrived, but by then we decided to cancel. We were told they were testing a new system that clearly wasn’t working. We were understanding of the situation, but that doesn’t change the taste or quality of the food—even without fully tasting the meat. I understand they are only a few months into opening, but those first months are crucial to build a good reputation. Speed and service can be improved over time, but flavor and quality are the foundation. Unfortunately, based on my experience and standards, I won’t be returning and will choose other places where the pricing, quality, and service are worth it.
