First time at their new location on St. Jean Blvd. Just dropped in to buy some cheese bagels. Also ended up buying challah rolls and potato knishes (an after thought). When home I noticed that a tip was charged on my receipt. I was totally surprised and do not agree that a tip should be added to my bill. Perhaps the owner should consider paying staff accordingly instead of putting the onus on customers by adding a tip.

Hi Barbara. Tips are never added automatically. There is a tipping option and it is never added unless you yourself add it. If it was a mistake made by you then I will gladly give you your money back. I apologize if there was a mix up. I pay my staff more than accordingly but thank you for the advice it is greatly appreciated.
