I’ve been to W&G a few years ago and i liked it so decided to go back:) We ordered the burrata in bruschetta and i loved the mix of flavour! For the main dish, we had the pesto (+chicken) and mac&cheese. The pesto pasta was good but the chicken was bland. The m&c was also good and extremely cheesy. For dessert, we took the tiramisu as our server Sam told us it was homemade. I’m not a big tiramisu fan so it was decent. Overall, we had a great experience and great service!

Pasta was rich in flavor without being heavy. Caesar salad was great if you don’t enjoy fishiness. Happy with my choice of the house Cabernet Sauvignon.
Amazing food, customers service and very economical!
Ordered a fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. It was good and the place was quiet because it was midday.
Creamy, delicious pasta with generous portions. Elegant Italian atmosphere, professional and knowledgeable staff. On the pricier side ($30–$40 per meal), but worth it for the quality. Note: not wheelchair accessible, no vegan options, and service can be slower when busy. 📸 Follow us on Instagram @mtlrestaurantcritique for more reviews
Clearly the best Italian restaurant in the megalopolis. Their cooks know what they’re doing, everything is always perfect, and their bartenders are world-class. (I always sit at the bar) I’ve been going for almost 10 years now, I don’t know why I didn’t review it sooner.
The service is always excellent n the pasta is delicious. Went there many times
I’ve been coming to this Italian restaurant for over 15 years, and it’s always exceptional. The food is delicious — pasta, pizza, salads, and great wine. The service is consistently warm and attentive. They make you feel at home. A true Italian gem in Montreal that never disappoints.
We had a great time with Romaine! Thank you for the great service!!
Very lovely food and good customers service
We gave this place a chance based on reviews, but the service was a nightmare. The staff has zero internal communication. We were stopped at the door and treated like criminals for trying to step outside for a smoke, even though we told a waitress and left our bags at the table as a guarantee. The management was incredibly rude and dismissive until the moment we paid; then their attitude suddenly shifted. We specifically asked if our food would stay, but we came back upstairs to find our table cleared and our meal in takeout boxes anyway. It felt like we were profiled and judged because we were in sweatpants, as they didn't bother to listen to us until they had our money. The manager tried to fix it with a free drink, but the night was already ruined. As for the food, the ravioli was okay, but the soup was nothing special and the Manzo pasta was very "mid" and lacked flavor. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff treats customers with basic respect.
We were a large group and each of us ordered something different. The server did a great job taking care of everyone, and the food was good as well.
Beware this bar, they serve 40cl beer as pint. C’est du vol.
Belongs to the same class of cuisine as the Cheesecake Factory
3 floors of wonderfully decorated interior.
