We ordered shahi panner and 6 simple roti or chapati via uber eats. They sent us stale rotis. I mean who do like this. We paid 25$ around to eat stale rotis. Please don’t do this.

I visited Vaishno Dhaba for the first time after hearing good things and was genuinely looking forward to trying the food and enjoying the dine-in atmosphere. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to properly experience either. A group that had reserved a table appeared to be celebrating a birthday or special occasion. I completely understand that people want to celebrate and enjoy themselves, but the level of noise was unacceptable for a dine-in restaurant. Why must I give up my enjoyment for the sake of others? Music was being blasted through a speaker at an extremely high volume, with heavy bass, along with shouting and dancing. I was wearing noise-cancelling headphones and could still clearly hear the music and feel the bass. I couldn’t even hear my own phone ring over it. It made it impossible to relax or properly enjoy the starter I ordered. Everything else I ordered I requested to be packed and taken away. It’s unacceptable to sit down in a restaurant just to order something for takeout. I chose to dine in because I wanted a proper restaurant experience — fresh, hot food served in a comfortable environment. If I wanted takeout, there is quite literally a McDonald’s across the street. If I wanted to eat at home, I could have easily cooked. I came out to enjoy a meal, not to sit through what felt like a private party. I want to be clear that the server did nothing wrong. They were polite and professional. This is a management issue. To the owner/manager: people absolutely have the right to celebrate, but not at the expense of other diners’ experiences. Reserving a table should not mean turning the restaurant into a private party venue. There needs to be a system in place to manage volume levels so all guests can enjoy their meals. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the restaurant has potential. With better oversight of group celebrations, the experience could be much more enjoyable for everyone.

Real dhaba style food, highly recommended for anyone wanting to try authentic North Indian flavors. It’s purely vegetarian, prices are very reasonable, and the taste is outstanding. They don’t rely on excessive butter or cream to make dishes flavorful , the aroma and spices truly stand out. One of its kind in Montreal! Must try.

I’ve been to **Vaishno Dhaba** many times now, and overall my experience has been mostly positive. Some of the dishes are consistently very good — flavorful, satisfying, and feel authentic. It’s one of those places you can rely on when you’re craving proper vegetarian comfort food. The ambience is nice with a pleasant aesthetic, and the place generally feels welcoming. That said, I do have a bit of feedback — the paratha could definitely be improved (texture and consistency can vary), and while the devotional music fits the theme, a little more variety in the playlist would make the dining experience even better. Overall, still a solid spot that I keep going back to, with just a few small tweaks that could make it even better.

I ordered a chat papdi which is totally unfurnished there was just dahi on papdi no decor no any bhujia and anardana something totally waste of money it was just mixup of dahi and papad and the picture is totally different what I got

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday with friends and it was a fantastic experience! 🎉 The food was delicious, the ambience and décor were amazing, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I’m very, very happy with everything. Highly recommend Vaishno Dhaba Montreal — will definitely visit again! 😊
