10/10 Speechless. Dined here for our anniversary and decided to try the tasting menu with classic wine pairings and wow. This review is challenging to write because there are no words for how incredible each course was. The pairings were wonderful and the staff here are so kind and personable, including the owner. I cannot recommend this place enough I’m so happy we ended up here! Also an amazing location with beautiful views. I recommend sitting on their terrace! Thank you, Bene Bar for an unforgettable evening!!

Amazing food. Went for our anniversary and had wonderful service and delightful, delicious dishes. Decided to splurge with the pairing menu and couldn’t have made a better decision. Next time we come back to the City we’ll be sure to make another stop. They made our night very special. Also be sure to get the tiramisu, I hear it’s an 80 year old family recipe.

We had an amazing late dinner on a Sunday night. My friend and I are visiting from B.C. and walked past Va Bene and immediately felt drawn to go in, it's small and lovely with the perfect ambience. The food was delicious, the wine recommendation was perfect, and our server Gabriel was LOVELY. He has so much pride in where he lives and works and shared stories about the area. Definitely recommend this beautiful experience!

Tiny claustrophobia-inducing place. The antipasto was fine, but the pasta dishes are lackluster, the bolognese was dry - sucked the life out of the room. $9 bottles of wine for $12 a glass. Tourist trap. Yikes.

We ate there on the second day of our stay and enjoyed it so much we came back the next day to have the Cacio e Pepe which was wonderful (as was the Tiramisu). Top-notch service both times. Highly recommended!

Adorable little restaurant. The mortadella ravioli and the shrimp with ricotta were standouts. Great little spot. Design of the space is wonderful. Reserve in advance.

The service and atmosphere was great. The place is small and cozy-chic. We had the flambé pasta with a glass of wine and the tiramisu. While the tiramisu and wine was exquisite we were a bit disappointed in the pasta as some were undercooked. The sauce was ok but not as outstanding as we expected from a place like this. However, the beef cheek garnish was delicious. As such, we will come back to taste their different options and have another taste of their fabulous dessert.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FIND. Stop looking and PLEASE try this out. We planned to stay for one appetizer and one glass of wine. After the antipasto we absolutely had to stay for pasta, and it didn’t disappoint in any way. 10/10! Service, style, food all great!

The food was okay, not amazing, but the service at the table was normal and generally fine. However, if you come without a reservation and there are no available tables, the host at the entrance can be very rude. That was our experience on the first visit. Despite that, we still wanted to try the restaurant because the food looked very good in advertisements. We came back the next day after lunch when there was availability, and we were able to try the food. Unfortunately, the taste was not as good as expected. Overall, it is still better than many other places, but the experience did not fully meet our expectations.

A meal to remember--you won't regret it! Staff were amazing, accommodating each request with care making our group feel special. The food was AMAZING. Very intimate place, so do make reservations or you will be eating at 9pm.

Excellent food and solid service. Only knock is its a very small restaurant and on cold days each time the door opens there is a blast of cold air. Highly recommend the steak filet and lamb shank. Pass on the bolognese as bit bland

My name is Vincent Muambi. Last week, two friends and I visited this restaurant during the holiday. I ordered the pasta dinner, and it was absolutely terrific. This was my first time experiencing authentic Northern Italian cuisine from the Bologna region, and I was thoroughly impressed. It is well worth the price, and I look forward to returning later this year with my future wife!

Fantastic service, ambience, and presentation! Our server was incredibly accommodating, especially when there was a mixup in the kitchen despite having instructions to cater to one of our party member’s allergies. The antipasti were fantastic, but unfortunately 3/4 mains were incredibly salty. We struggled to finish our meals due to this. This was a shame in consideration of how beautiful the rest of our experience was.
