Porag gave us great service today ! He went above and beyond to give us a great experience ! We also were here yesterday and had a wonderful female waitress. She was so great and the food was so good we decided to come back today !

These 3 tourists from Washington Dc could not have enjoyed this restaurant more. The food was wonderful and the people were even better. Roxanna and Francois fed and watered these tired travelers with linguine and burgers. Edited to add that we have eaten here for breakfast every morning of the trip and enjoy every bite. This morning this morning Benoit Helped me find a perfectly prepared, chicken and spinach crêpe for breakfast, and made Sure that the picky eater in the family got exactly the scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast with butter that she wanted. We love everything about this restaurant.

After a long walk, we stopped by the terrace and were greeted by the absolutely lovely server Makisha. Her cheerful and lively attitude really lifted our spirits. She was skilled at reading the customer’s needs and recommended exactly the products we needed. A big thank you to this sunny personality and a warm recommendation for the place

We enjoyed our breakfast at Universel on Peel street in downtown Montreal during the hockey games. Love the duck eggs Benedict and the Avacado toast with walnuts- simply delicious! It is very convenient as it’s right beside the Residence Inn and in a great location. The menu is extensive and has a wide range of meals to satisfy all your tastes and dietary requirements. They have an abundance of healthy meals and their prices are very reasonable & competitive. Their hot and cold drink options are awesome and delicious. Thile staff are very friendly, accommodating and efficient. This restaurant is truly an icon in the heart of Montreal and a must visit!

Our server was very nice and helped us with any questions we had. We had the breakfast burger and Universal poutine both were super fillin. So much so we couldn't finish and had to take the rest back with us to our hotel.

We had a fantastic brunch! As someone who is afraid to explore my palate, the menu offered a great mix of standard everyday meals alongside speciality dishes. We had a sweet server, Emilie, who served us with a smile every interaction :)!! Super joyful hostess, alongside the cozy terrasse on a beautiful day like today.

I've been at Universel on Peel twice and the food was absolutely delicious both times. But I especially find that the staff really goes above and beyond to make sure customers feel welcomed and at ease. I brought my mother here for Mother's Day and the service was AMAZING, the servers were so kind and they even offered mother's roses. So sweet! Great place for brunch overall!!
