Who knew? A fantastic diner sitting right next door to the hotel, literally steps away. Universel Déjeuners et Grillades is absolutely on point. The automatic wheelchair door wasn’t working, but the large, flat roll-in glass doors made getting in manageable without too much trouble. I went for the risotto de canard, and wow… rich, creamy, perfectly hot, and packed with flavor. Easily a standout dish. Service was bilingual (French-English), efficient, fast, and genuinely friendly. The whole place has that relaxed European café feel that makes you want to linger just a little longer. #tysadventures26 #SpringBreak26 #montreal #duckrisotto

Absolutely fabulous breakfasts served up quickly. Benoit was a pleasure and served our bilingual table with care - a wonderful dining experience! Will be back next time we’re in Montreal.

Had Janice as our waitress, she was hilarious, and gave us incredible service. Food was great portions were a bit big, but nothing a take out box can’t fix!

Visiting Montreal from the UK, stopped here for breakfast and had a lovely breakfast. Staff were very friendly, all in all would recommend.

Our waiter was Rahman was amazing, the food was excellent! I had a crepe with berries & english cream. The prices were very reasonable. I will definately be coming back.

Quintessential breakfast place and so much more! Wide menu of pretty amazing looking breakfast options, from eggs to waffles and crepes and everything in between. A perfect spot for your brunch party with mimosa section of the menu to explore. Then there is the rest of the menu, which I only perused as I was here for breakfast. I got Porag for my waiter, he was prompt, attentive and service was fabulous, will be back!

Came with a chaotic toddler and staff was helpful and accommodating. Cha Cha from the kitchen gets a special shout out for being extra kind and going out of his way. The friendliness of the staff who took the time to help and interact with our baby made our experience a lot more enjoyable!

The chicken and waffles is my fave—soooo delicious! Definitely had to go back a second time in one week just to get it AGAIN! The service is fantastic, the ambiance is very modern and the music very upbeat and mood lifting. The first time, I had a lovely french gentleman as my server and the second time, Yuliia was my server and she was great as well! 10/10 recommend for brunch!
