We tried the matcha, original, and chocolate cheesecakes from Uncle Tetsu and honestly, each one had its own kind of deliciousness 🍰 The texture is so light, fresh, and soft, and you can really taste the quality in every flavor. The original is classic and comforting, the matcha has a perfect balanced flavor, and the chocolate one is rich without being too heavy 🍵🍫 Definitely worth trying if you love fresh and fluffy Japanese-style cheesecakes 💛

Just hype. Tastes like 5 minute old bread soaked in milk, breaks off so easily it’s impossible to use a fork (cuz you know, cheeseCAKE), not sweet at all nor bland (again, “cake”), doesn’t even taste like cheese. Pricing is fair for what it is, but a classic New York or Basque goes a long way Staff was great i can’t deny that, and quality control is exceptional. Just that the cheesecake is anything but good

Their locations are consistent in quality across the country. I first tried Uncle Tetsu in Toronto and am glad I have a location near me in my new city. The Japanese Cheesecake standard.

Loved the cake, freshly cooked and warm from the oven and not too sweet. Packaging was awesome too. The lady who served us was kind, helpful and polite. Will definitely try again.

I recently picked up a Japanese cheesecake from this bakery for a New Year’s celebration, and it was an absolute hit.
