Just happened to passby and went into restaurant in spur of moment for a late lunch quick bite. Was surprised by the light but tasty ramen noodle, clam shoyu based broth, good umami flavor and tender pork spices. Oddly the highlight for me was the side dish Miso Yasai, veggie not sure grilled or pan seared but nicely done with aroma matched wonderfully with sweet and savory miso seasame sauce. Wished I had time and was more hungry to try other dishes.
What guests say about Tsukuyomi Ramen - Mile End
Several reviews highlight tasty ramen, generous portions, and good value for the price, along with service that is often appreciated. Some people also find the place quick, pleasant, and reliable from one visit to the next. On the other hand, a few criticisms mention disappointing broths or noodles, dishes served inconsistently, and one serious case of feeling ill after the meal.

Very good, very affordable, I recommend!
The eggplant appetizer was great, but the ramen unfortunately was not. My partner got the porc broth with chicken and it was nothing more than average. I got the vegan soy ramen and it was so sweet that I couldn’t eat it. The server was very sweet though!!
Ate here for years, i find it to be better than its sister branch downtown. Service and Atmosphere is impeccable, the food is godlike. I love this place
A delicious bowl of ramen. Broth was flavorful, noodles perfectly cooked and pork chashu tender with a hint of smoke. The chicken karaage was super juicy on the inside and came in a very generous portion. Will definitely be back again. Went back a second time and got the chicken instead of the pork chashu and it was very juicy and tender. Also tried the tako wasabi and that was very good as well. The wasabi flavour is quite strong which I enjoyed. Probably best to not take a super large portion for the first one. Update Went back again and tried the miso ramen, the ship ramen and the eggplant. Everything was excellent. The ship ramen is on the lighter side and the miso on the heavier flavour side.
I’ve been a few times, the food and service have been consistently good. Definitely have a few things to share before your ramen, and that yuzu beer is so good!
The food was amazing. Especially the takowasa! Ordered 3 appetizers and 2 ramens and a yuzu beer. Everything was delicious. They ended up serving everything at once. It would have been nice to have the apps first then the ramen because the noodles were a bit cold after we finished the apps. But overall great vibe and great food.
The best ramen I had in Montreal. The other side options were good too, we tried salmon sashimi and the shrimp. Would definitely come again.
Returning customer. Always enjoyed the food. I had dinner there with a friend on Jan 30 and both of us were VIOLENTLY sick later that evening. I spoke to the manager the following day and he was very awkward and generally dismissive of the situation and refused a refund.
