I've been going to this restaurant for almost a year now.The tikka chicken roll is truly the most incredible sandwich ever. With fresh homemade naan, juicy chicken and the perfect spicy sauce, I haven't found anything like it. The place is cute and the staff is friendly. I've tried other things on the menu like the lamb curry and it is also delicious.The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is for the inconsistency. I've had 3 times that I waited more than 1 hour for an order of two sandwiches, and the restaurant was nearly empty. But I keep maintaining the thought that it is still more worth and tastier than going at McDo. As well as the importance of supporting small and local businesses. However, in the past few months, the rolls have been a "hit or miss" experience. Sometimes it was missing ingredients, like the onions for example.The other day I ordered through UberEats for my whole family to enjoy and the naans had been swapped for a tortilla bread, the sizes were almost half of its usual and the sauce was different (tasted more like mustard). It was a big disappointment and drop in quality of what this restaurant had got me used to.

We were looking for an Indian restaurant and find this restaurant on Google. We were very pleased with the food. We ordered the butter chicken, spicy meat ball and naan. It became my favorite Indian restaurant. Plus, the waitress was super nice and we also got to try one of their new drink ☺️If you look for a good Indian restaurant, you should definitely go est at Tru India 😊

I have tried their Amritsari Kulcha, I must say I have never tasted this delicious Kulcha anywhere else in Canada. Wonderful Customer service and very warm environment.

Hi,guys I came from Portugal and I went today in TRU INDIA Asian food restaurant and I try Amritsari Kulaha and so delicious and crispy I love it I am highly recommend everyone try this AMRITSARI KULAHA . Best place in the Montreal. 🫶

A few weeks ago, I ordered an Amritsari Kulcha through DoorDash and waited for more than an hour. After the long wait, I received a call from DoorDash saying the item was out of stock. Shortly afterward, a staff member from the restaurant called and asked me to cancel the order myself. As a customer, it was very disappointing to be informed only after waiting so long.Recently, I called the restaurant directly to confirm whether the Amritsari Kulcha was available before placing another order. To my surprise, the staff member told me that the owners had instructed them not to serve me food. I found this response unprofessional and confusing, especially since I had only raised a concern about my previous experience.Customers should be able to provide feedback or make complaints when service issues occur without feeling that they will be refused service afterward. Very disappointing experience.

Very warm welcome and excellent service. The food offered unique and delicious flavors, and our waitress was incredibly charming and always smiling. A wonderful experience overall. We'll definitely be back another time!

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, great paintings on the walls. The server was very polite. And the food was very tasty, they made it extra spicey for me. Would definitely recommend 👌

Terrible food quality and highly unprofessional staff. I ordered the tandoori chicken platter from Tru India (near Snowdon Metro), and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The chicken was smelly, hard, and completely lacked any flavor or taste.When we brought the food back to the counter to ask for a refund, the way they handled it was shocking. The serving staff member, Keerath, and the manager were both extremely rude. They made us wait for 45 minutes without a proper response.To make matters worse, it seems there are no real chefs in the back; the manager was the only person cooking. Throughout our wait, he showed a horrible attitude, was dismissive, and completely ignored our concerns.I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. The food quality is severely lacking, and the customer service is practically nonexistent.

Excellent food with great service! A lot of options for vegetarians, if you have low spice tolerance, mild is truly mild. We loved the colourful atmosphere, and were very happy with the student discount, as well as the complimentary appetizer from the chef. Will definitely come again!

They lady serving us was super kind. We got three different dishes, naan and and an appetizer. Legitimately nothing bad to say about the food in anyway. I loved it and it filled us all up with some to spare. We got it mild and it was perfect not spicy at all. You got to try this place.
