Best sushi in Montreal, it's the only place I eat sushi. Decently priced and consistently the same quality and flavour. I've been going to Tri express since it opened 20 years ago, unfortunately the service has been getting worse and worse with time, hence why I typically do take out only. There is one waitress who seems to hate her job and looks miserable at all times. She's unwelcoming and rude, not sure why she's still there

Fantastic sushi and the team there was awesome ! Quick service, fresh and tasty and we will be returning ! 🍣 We ordered à la carte for the 5 of us it was great!! Our kids loved it 👌

Stepping into Tri Express feels like slipping through a hidden portal. The place itself is truly special, beautifully decorated with antique, vintage pieces inspired by the marine world. It’s unique in a way that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service matches it perfectly. The staff are friendly, attentive. The table setup is thoughtfully done, yet simple. Now, the food… honestly, amazing. You can taste the freshness in every bite. The menu offers a great variety, and the combinations are both creative and well-balanced. The sushi stands out, the rice is just perfect in both thickness and quality, so you don’t feel overly full, just satisfied. My absolute favorites were the salmon tartare, the lobster tartare and the maki de saison tri, incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We also started with a sashimi nouveau style topped with apple and a special sauce, which was a really nice and refreshing touch. Even the presentation of each dish was on point. As for the price, it’s very reasonable considering the quality and quantity you get. And just to clarify, the total you see on the bill was for one person, while we were actually two dining. Overall, Tri Express is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

The sashimi was excellent and the tri-lobster, too. Good wine selection and recommendations. Hit that spot of quality, price, and cool. Staff was very professional.
